considering this cutting, will it be okay for water prop? this will get plenty of light from two barrina t8s.

    Don’t put this into water. It’s too risky and might rot.
    Grab some sphagnum moss and place into a glass jar, keep the moss moist but not wet.
    It will grow healthier roots this way than it will in water.

    I think you can try water-propping this or sphagnum moss propping after it’s dried out for a few hours post-cut. I personally have had better success with water propping because it’s easier to watch and make sure it’s not rotting slowly in there.

    Recently I’ve been water-propping a Philo Prince of Orange cutting in water with its air roots in the water and it’s doing great. I’m not soaking it in a ton of water though, just enough to get the roots at the bottom wet.

    You can seal cut ends in candle wax. I did that for my pink princess cuttings and no end rot!
