Morning everyone and welcome back to our YouTube channel. My name is Becky and I work in our social media team, but today we are not going along to my day job. We are going to Chelsea Flower Show. So, we’re going to take you along with us and check out some of the trends for the next year and also just have a really nice day out. So, let’s go. So, I have just arrived in Chelsea and I’m on my way to meet James from our garden team. But before I do, let me show you what I’m wearing cuz I feel like Chelsea is a bit of a fashion show as well as flower show. So, I’m just going to pop you up on this ledge here and hopefully you can see. So, my dress is from Finery. It was last year’s, but I do know we have a couple of sizes still left on site, but I reckon you could size down. I got a 10, which is my normal size, and it is quite roomy, but that just means it’s got lots of eating room, which I like, especially for a day out. Um, oh, and actually, I did get my nails done to match my dress. So, let me show you them. And they match the little blue flowers on my dress, which I thought was cute. So, let’s go find James now. I think he’s waiting for me in Stone Square. Hello, James. Hi, how are you today? I’m super excited to see you to be here in the beautiful Chelsea and Bloom installation. Yeah. So, this you can actually visit for free if you don’t have tickets to the show. So, I did have a little wander around on the way to meet James. Yes. So, what are you most excited to see today, James? Definitely the show gardens. Um, definitely the rose display. I mean, there’s so many. The house plants, house plant studios, loads of things. So everything then everything. Okay. So we are on our way to the show now. It is about 10-minute walk from here. So let’s go. These guys are setting up their Chelsea and Bloom installation. This is the Alice and Livia store. Sure it’ll look beautiful [Music] later. We’re just arriving now. James is being the airport dad. He’s got all of our tickets and making sure that we get in. Yeah, absolutely. Through the floral arches. £17 for a guide. Are you going to get a guide? Should absolutely not. I know. Use my phone. I think we’ll Google it for that price. So, we’ve just arrived and we’re going to have a look at some of the vendor stands. Um, I think Wilso um who do like pantil calendars and the crackers and notebooks and things is first on our list. So, let’s go see if we can find them. And then these guys, we it’s a veg and a herb one. So, you got oberine one month. You’ve got loads of different types of veg and herbs. Cool. Blooming note box. Nice. So, inside the blooming note box, there’s a pack of sunflower seeds that’s hidden in the notebook. Oh, nice. James has been distracted by a free tote bag. First of the day, guys. [Music] Two hours later. [Music] First tote bag secured. So, this is one of the n areas. So, they are doing the official rosé and also the official cider. It is 9:00 a.m. though, so might be a bit early for a wine. Cheers. Cheers. What’s your verdict? It’s delicious. It is 9 in the morning. Never too early for a glass of rosé. Oh, actually, that is really nice. Yeah, I like that. So, we just finished up at the new tent. We will be back there later, though, when it’s more of an appropriate time to drink rosé. Um, but right now, we’re off to go and find Emma, one of our garden experts, and then we’ll take you around some of the shade gardens with us. Jane’s hovering in the background. So, we just met up with Emma. Hello. Emma’s been living here all week. Um, so we’re going to go have a little look around the show gardens now. So, we’ll take you along with us. Yay. Guys, can I just say, imagine putting your ninja slush here. Sorry. No. Sorry. Ooh. What do we have here, Becky? Oh, this is my dream. It’s not my budget. One day I can have one of these. Would you grow anything in it or just sit in it? Well, just sit in it. I’d like to, you know, put my herbs in there, my tomatoes that I’m trying to grow, but we’ll see. This is the first year, so they might not work. If they don’t work, I’ll find something else. Oh my gosh. This sculpture is going to be in the QC at the gardeners wildlife. The exact one. That one right there. also on trend because water trend spotting. Orange and purple. Zoom in. Orange and purple. Just forever. Orange and purple. [Music] Come with us to the floral marquee. [Music] James has procured another freebie. What have you got? Everyone, it’s a nice little Frank. What’s the shape of it meant to be? Do we know? Just looks a bit rude to me, but just mine’s in the gutter. Sorry, but what’s it? I just want to, you know, what is it? Maybe it’s a plant label. It’s a plant label. Yeah, sure. suits you. I actually quite like it. And it would go with a dead jacket. It’s nice. Yeah. Yeah. Day with a new hat. Got to make sure you got your cap and your SPF, your ultrasound on Emma’s found what she’s having for lunch. Getting my lunch, guys. Don’t mind me. Few glasses. I think we’ll get a bottle. [Music] So, we’ve just finished lunch. My camera has died. You can tell we aren’t natural vloggers. So, if there’s a drastic shift in the quality, it’s because we’re now on my phone. Um, we had a very expensive pins. How much was that, James? £15 for a pins. But, it was lovely. And we had a nice view. Um, it looks like it’s going to rain, so we’re going to head inside and look at some of the new king’s roses. This is the queue to see the king’s rose. We have spent half of our day queuing. [Music] So, we’ve just come over the king’s room. This is the Japanese tea garden. Oh my gosh, I am obsessed. Not a flower in there, which is very unnecess. It’s just perfect. Lots of moss balls. [Music] So, we’ve pretty much seen everything now. We’ve been around all the show gardens and some of the shopping bits, but what was your favorite bit? It was the Catherine’s rose from Hartford. Beautiful rose. Really love. Mine was the songbird garden, which you’ve literally just seen. But honestly, it was just so beautiful. It was very naturalistic. It used a lot of sustainable materials and it was all about looking after our lovely little songirds which are in decline which is really important. So song birds for everyone please I don’t know how I’m going to follow that. Mine was the sweet peas cuz it’s my favorite flower but that’s it. And that is that’s the end of that. Can we get a rosé now? Yeah. So we’re going to go we’re going to go check out the new rosé tent again. Um and we’re going to leave the vlog here. But uh yeah, remember to like, comment, and subscribe if you want to see more of these. And let us know in the comments what you’d like to see. Bye guys. Bye guys.
