Tried searching the sub but didn't find the answer I was looking for exactly, especially for the 8×10 model.

Maybe I'm overthinking this, but if I'm using wood 4x4s do I just need to cut them to size so the perimeter they create is exactly the same dimensions as seen here in the manual?

And then set the greenhouse on top of them? How much foundation overlapping would you have if I cut those 4x4s exactly to that foundation size?

  1. Wait until you have the kit in your possession, if you don’t already. Some of the greenhouse kits will have lips designed to hang over the edge of the foundation. You’ll have to build it around that.

I recommend 6×6’s so you don’t have to be so exact. This will give you a little room for error. They are also heavier so it will add weight to it for wind resistance.
