Ingredients
Arbi ke patte (Colocasia leaves) – 4–5
Besan (gram flour) – 1 cup
Haldi, red chili powder, salt – to taste
Tamarind paste – 1 tbsp
Jaggery (grated) – 1 tbsp (optional)
Water – as needed
Oil – for shallow frying or tempering
Steps
Mix besan, haldi, red chili, salt, tamarind paste, jaggery, and water to make a thick paste.
Apply paste on the back of each leaf, layer 2–3 leaves, fold and roll tightly.
Steam the roll for 15–20 minutes. Cool and slice.
Shallow fry or temper with mustard seeds and sesame seeds.
Ready to serve! Crispy, tangy, and delicious.
