Everyone I know loves edging. So, every chance I get to edge, you better believe I do it. Our backyard has a gigantic trampoline, and it is prone to having tall grass grow underneath it. So, I decided to install some edging, some weed barrier, and a ton of mulch. Because there’s going to be a ton of kids feet and adult feet with no shoes, I decided to go with this product called Edge. It’s made with a thick gauge of weathering steel. It has a rounded over top, so no hands or feet get cut by the steel. They come in 4ft and twoft sections, and they have corners and a ton of different pieces you can add to it. Whenever I’m edging, I always use the longest board I have to make sure I have a straight line going down the center. I dig the spikes into the ground and then I kind of lean it against the board. Now that I got my outline done, I’m going to move this trampoline and break out the weed whacker. If you’re interested in this edging system, comment the word edge and I’ll DM a link to this product. Now, it’s time to unroll this weed fabric. I’m hoping this weed fabric helps with any future weeds sprouting through the yard. I would get those stone stepping stones from Lowe’s and have them butt up against the edging in front of the entrance of the trampoline so there isnt a need to step over edging… you could make short pathway leading to the entrance

Worst idea I have seen this year. "What if" and does the risk outweigh the benefit were no used on this project. Pull that deathtrap up and get a rope, use your riding lawn mower to pull the trampoline out of the way and keep mowing. It will take 2 minutes to move.

Seems like an accident waiting to happen. I can understand it under a window but why introduce a hazard where kids play? You’ve essentially made a curb for them to hurt themselves on. Kids run with no shoes to the trampoline and cranks their toe on that or is going to get out slips and their bone comes down on a crisp edge rather then flat ground which distributes the force evenly.
