As you can see one is wilted one is going strong one has wilted. Got it less than 2 weeks ago, the non wilted one flowered on the 23rd the wilted one flowered on the 24th. One pettel was drooping and had completely wilted like it is in the pic. No idea what's going on and I've tried to water more and water less and I'm not seeing any change. Does this impact the other flowers cause it looks like I'm gonna get at least 3 or 4 more flowers based on the stems peaking out.

That’s just how airplants flower 🙂

Your ~~Tillandsia~~ *Wallisia cyanea’s* true flowers are the purple bits. The pink structure is the inflorescence. Individual flowers only last 1 or 2 days, but the plant will continue flowering for a few weeks. Every ‘V’ shape on the inflorescence should contain a flower.

As for watering, it’s a bit different. Pink Quill Airplant prefers to be potted and treated like an orchid rather than a traditional airplant. Just water it when it dries out; that might be 3 days or it might be 5. The mix should be high draining and have water come out the holes freely. Also smaller snug pots are better, as long as they hold water reasonably well.

You’ll also want pretty bright lighting if you want fragrant flowers. Part shade or a bright window sill will let it make an amazing cinnamon-jasmine perfume peaking at noon.

Also once the plant finishes flowering everything will die back. You will have pups though to continue growing. The mother plant recycles all the nutrients into the new growths. If you want faster blooms, I would leave all the pups alone. *You can always divide later*
