I recently purchased one of the backyard discovery greenhouses (poppy), and everything is great except I would like to add screens to the window to keep bugs out. I suppose I could cut the shelf if I had to. Any suggestions?
I think you can buy a roll of screen mesh at any hardware store. Cut to size with scissors and staple it on.

Build a hinged wooden frame with a lock on it and staple screening to it.

A screen will block your ability to open and close the windows, youll need something that can be removed in order to operate the window

We use framed screens that are just the right size to jam into the opening. We put them on when we know it doesn’t get to cold at night anymore, and just leave the windows open all the time until it starts getting colder towards winter.
