Spring in Baja California is in full bloom, bringing vibrant colors and perfect weather to enjoy the outdoors with family. And what better place to do so than La Ruta de las Flores (The Flower Route), a destination that combines nature and local tourism in a space full of magic.
Miguel Aguíñiga Rodríguez, Baja California’s Minister of Tourism, extended an invitation to explore this ideal space for families and tourists.
He mentioned that this route, launched last October, is open all year and evolves with the seasons, ensuring there’s always something new to discover. Additionally, he emphasized that it’s an experience meant to be shared with family, featuring various outdoor activities that enhance the journey.
Divided into five zones, the Flower Route features over 40 destinations, including flower farms, restaurants, attractions, and other tourist services. Each stop offers something different, whether it’s flower sales, hands-on workshops, scenic hikes, or other engaging experiences.
The official explained that each farm can be explored in about two hours, and it not only allows visitors to admire the natural beauty of the blooms but also supports local communities and promotes sustainable, eco-friendly tourism.
Finally, he invited everyone to explore places like Rancho Mictlán, Ruta del Maíz, or Mi Granjita, perfect for enjoying this experience with your loved ones. To explore the full route, see maps, and get recommendations, visit: https://www.bajacalifornia.travel/es/rutas-turisticas/ruta-flores.
