I’m in the SF Bay Area and I made these signs that show the life cycle of monarch butterflies and Narrowleaf Milkweed which is their favorite host plant around here. It’s supposed to be beautiful and educational. I’d love to hear this your thoughts! 🙂

It’s lovely! I love the color and style. My only thought is that I would use a font that is a little easier to read from a distance; that way you get the most information value from it.

I love it! I would totally buy one. Also – t shirts!!

  3. I love this! Went and followed you on instagram. Your art is amazing

this is immediately my favorite yard sign. SIMPLE. CLEAN. GOOD LOOKIN’. all the “official” signs are way too busy with way too many words and ugly QR codes.

    my only notes are:

    * consider making the milkweed plant bigger and/or denser to really make it pop out of that yellow frame. also that green and pink on the teal background looks FIIIIIIRE so u def need more of that interaction

    * darker letters with a thin white outline would pop

These are stunning!! Would you mind sharing how you had them printed? I’ve been wanting to make my own signs as well!

So pretty! What’s the material, is it metal?

U don’t know how hard i was looking for signs like this last season. Looks great.

  9. I love the symmetry of this! *Chef’s kiss*

I also really like how you used the milkweed pods and fluff to make a fleur de lys. You clearly put a lot of thought into this!

I just placed an order. It will look great in front of our milkweed and other natives.

I really like your sign. Someone mentioned it on a T-shirt. That would be cool also.

I’d buy one! Can you message me the link to your Etsy shop if that’s allowed

Would you ever do ones that say “do not spray”? These are lovely and I’ve been looking for no spray signs!

I’d buy one if I did a section in the front of my house with wild plants so people know it’s intentional
