In this video, I’ll show you an easy way to fill a grow bag with soil. Grow bags have a tendency to flop closed while you are trying to fill them. This method solves that problem. Thanks for watching!

Filling grow bags with soil can be a real pain sometimes. You either have to get someone to hold it for you or you have to keep straightening it up as you fill it. I found an easy way to do it that doesn’t require anyone to help you or it doesn’t require you to keep straightening up the bag. You just fill up the bucket first and then transfer the soil from the bucket to the grow bag by putting the grow bag over the top of the bucket and flipping it over. It’s very easy to fill the grow bag after that. Then it’s just a matter of filling the grow bag to the desired depth.

Great idea!
You have the perfect voice for a podcast!
I fold the sides down about 2-3 inches. Helps me also leave room for adding plant food wehn ready.
Brilliant.
Really….😂
How smart, that's a great idea
I thought this was common sense but thats not so common anymore!!
Great I’ll do this! I have a question though. Do you find that your grow bags dry out really fast or do you use drip irrigation?
Tomato cage works also.
