The winning team selected for the estimated £105,000 contract will draw up plans for new ‘greener, attractive, inclusive, sustainable and resilient’ public realm on the street which forms the eastern boundary of the Grade II-listed Barbican Estate.
Key aims include creating a north-south green corridor connecting Moor Lane to nearby London Wall Place. The project comes four years after Wayward created a temporary ‘Meanwhile Moor Lane’ community garden installation on the street which is located a short distance from Moorgate station.
