A car crashed into the front garden of a home and ‘crushed’ the wall in an Oxford suburb.

According to the householder, who wishes to remain anonymous, the black BMW ‘went up the kerb and crashed into our front garden’ in Northway on Sunday (May 26).

The driver reportedly left the scene.

The fire service attended and ‘made the car safe as it was smoking’, and it is understood police are aware of the incident.

The vehicle is currently untaxed, according to the government website.
