I has a philodendron Florida beauty in a pot of water to help it grow new roots. I check it every morning to see how it's going. This morning, the only leaf fell off!! Is there anything I can do or is it doomed?
The cutting looks plenty big enough to survive as long as that dark colour isnt from rot

Yes, for sure! Use a sterilised knife or even better a disposable razor, cut it into one node pieces and use sphagnum moss mixed with perlite (use a prop box or a jar – high humidity). 👍 Give lots of light and be careful not to have it in too high and too low temperatures and it’s going to sprout in no time 🥰
