I bought this plant about a month ago. Since then about 1/2 of the plant has turned brown and died. In looking at it about 10 days ago, the original soil looked like regular potting soil or peat moss, but very compacted. I decided to repot. The roots were not rotting , so I repotted in spagnum moss/perlite. There has not been any new growth since I repotted, and more pitchers are turning brown. It is in a 3 inch pot in a saucer that I keep filled with distilled water. I live in south Florida and it is outside in my screened in patio. It’s under an umbrella but gets good early morning and afternoon sun. I fed it about two weeks ago with that food that comes in those little cubes. What am I doing wrong/what is wrong with the plant? Thank you

A couple of things: what material is the pot? It’s recommended to only grow carnivorous plants in plastic pots. What did you feed the plant with? Were the pitchers filled with distilled water?

It’s just adjusting to its new location. Ideally you’ll have it outside in full sun.

Keep an eye on it and see how the other pitchers respond to acclimation, it’s going to grow slowly so don’t be deterred by slow happenings.
