The 2025 Northumberland Home, Garden & Leisure Show drew thousands to the Cobourg Community Centre over the weekend, offering residents a chance to explore the latest trends in home improvement, gardening, and leisure activities.
Held on Saturday, May 24, and Sunday, May 25, the free event featured more than 70 local vendors, including landscapers, renovation experts, and leisure product specialists. Attendees had the opportunity to connect directly with professionals, gaining insights and solutions tailored to their home and garden needs.
Attendees say it was easy to connect with suppliers and get their questions answered.

The show was presented by the Ryan Huffman Real Estate Team and hosted by 93.3 myFM, Classic Rock 107.9, and Oldies 100.9. To enhance accessibility, a complimentary shuttle service operated on Saturday, providing continuous transportation between Donegan Park and the Cobourg Community Centre.

Organizers highlighted the importance of supporting local businesses and fostering community connections. “The event was a fantastic opportunity for residents to discover local solutions for their home and garden projects,” said Station Manager Tommy West. “The turnout exceeded our expectations, and we’re thrilled with the community’s response.”
Port Hope’s Capitol Theatre was on hand as well promoting this year’s season.

Visitors praised the variety of exhibitors and the chance to engage with experts in a relaxed setting. “It was great to see so many local businesses under one roof,” said attendee Sarah Thompson. “I left with plenty of ideas for my backyard makeover.”
