My string of pearls has random pearls that have simply dried up, and I’m not sure why. It seems to have stopped growing as well- but the living pearls look completely fine. Is there something wrong with it- and if there is what can I do to save it?

How much light does it get? Mine is in a window but I had to add grow lights over the top before it consistently grew. They also prefer mostly inorganic soil and have shallow roots. I opted to put inorganic substrate in the bottom half of my terracotta pot (similar to yours) so it could make sure the base of the plant sits just above the rim. Wrapping the strings over the soil is a good idea if you like a fuller look, plus they’ll root and grow more strings!
