The wife's Nan came round over the weekend and said it would be nice to expand the boarder, I needed very little encouragement for this, if anything it was an excuse to buy more plants.
I love a good excuse for more plants.
What I've loved in the transformation of the garden was that tonight, while planting, I had a Robbin and Bluetit come up to me. The birds love the garden and especially the freshly turned over soil.
It feels great giving a net positive towards nature.
2 years ago we had no birds come into the garden, over the last year the garden has became my main priority and now we have so many birds come to the garden, bees buzzing round the garden, butterflies and moths. It's all amazing.

Just wait until you find out about barrel ponds!
Dragonflies, frogs, newts, bats!
I do like what you’ve done. Is the trellis for a clematis?
You are right, nature needs help and it sounds like you are giving the creatures a hand and getting some nice rewards for it. It’s nice to see some bees this year, I hardly saw any last year.
