Do you all leave them alone, or ever cut back the aerial roots?

It depends if you want your monstera to grow up on a Mosd Pole denn dann Cutter but in this case and in my case I just cut it because my Fury is the plant is just wasting new trients on the roots but I’m not a Pro and I just Wing it and go with my Intuition …

I personally cut them off. This is, however, a very impressive number of aerial roots.

I feel like most of these can go into soil no?? Or should have back when the root was shorter, more flexible, and could’ve been trained towards soil. The plant used a lot of time and energy/nutrients to make these long luscious roots, so please don’t cut them. *Stick em into soil; the plant will know what to do 🫡🌱 *lovingly~

I’d just put them in the soil. They help to support the plant

I just recently cut a few of mine off and my plant still alive

  6. Whenever I can, I tuck them into the soil so that they can help support the plant.

I cut them off when they get intrusive. If they stay out of my way I let them fly.

  8. I personally would repot and tuck them into the soil.

If you’re not redirecting them into the soil then they’re not doing anything. Cutting them won’t harm the plant aside from increasing water loss a little due to the open wound

I repot and put them into the soil. I also redirect new ones to the soil. I’ve had them root into my carpet before so I’m a little more careful. I never cut roots though.

I never cut them. I know some people are really bothered by then, but they are just so earthy and ethereal to me for some reason. If I can safely, I direct them into the soil. Otherwise, I just let them do whatever.

I’d get a bigger pot and bury the roots

I cut em. Once discovered one behind the pot that had grown into the paneling on the wall
