All of a sudden I have a million of these little gnat like insects in all my pots. I'm trying to figure out what I can do to get rid of them that is safe for my vegetables. The soil is teeming with them. Thanks!

Fungus gnats. Generally, not a huge deal unless it is a big infestation. The flying adults don’t do any harm. The larva in the soil eat decaying matter but can harm roots in big numbers. Usually they peak and then subside.
