hi guys in this video we’re going to talk about 20 items I got from teu to level up my garden share with you my honest opinion whether you should buy them or whether you should run away screaming I’d like to welcome you to my backyard Kentucky Homestead my name is Kim and let’s get started so the first thing I want to talk about is this 10-ft Garden gazebo trellis it is absolutely wonderful I absolutely love it uh it is about 81 in wide each of the openings is about 42 in wide and it is extremely sturdy goes into the ground so you do want to have it in somewhere where you can actually use the legs to go into dirt uh but I’m really really excited about having this in the garden this year so my plan is to have sweet peas grow and grow bags on the inside of the legs and then come spring later in the spring and summer I’m going to have grow bags on the other side with blackeyed Seasons or other summer bining crops but just absolutely love this really really excited I might actually put some hanging baskets inside sorry about the wind uh but I want to probably put some hanging baskets with hanging flowers that Cascade down I think this is going to be gorgeous and down in the center area I’m going to try to put some zenas and other wild flowers so it’ll be a huge pollinator tractor in the center of the garden so it should really really help the pollination throughout and of course there’ll be plenty of flowers everywhere but it was about $100 I would have again check on multiple listings I saw this on Amazon as well for like $150 but I paid about $99 for it uh you do need two people for sure to put it together uh and then you need to make sure that you have these upper structures in the right position because they have a different end on them and if they are not in the right place you cannot get the legs attached and we had to redo this three times before we got it right so do re check be sure to check the instructions and the leg attachments ah all right go to the next one and hopefully it’ll be a little less windy all right so the next one is a 7 1/2t garden trellis uh I would give it probably a 6 out of 10 on construction once I get the 16 gauge wire fencing on it probably it’ll be really really good it is a little wonky right now it comes with a nylon mesh netting but I don’t want to use that I’m going to like again use the metal nutting that I’ve used over on the other trellos which should make it a whole lot sturdier do have a tendency to fall out so I would definitely put it together where you want to use it and how I was going to use it is not necessarily going to work so I’m going to have to figure this out I do have a few of these uh they will work it’s going to be great but I have to rethink it a little bit because how I wanted them just isn’t quite going to work out they’re a little bit bigger than I thought but overall I would say it’s really good I would recommend it um but do have some patient with it and make sure you put it together where you want it so one problem I did have with this is where how they arrived so I bought four of them all together three of them came directly from China uh on a cargo ship one of them came from a local Warehouse so this is one I would absolutely buy from a local Warehouse because two of the ones that came from China arrived damaged one of them was missing the clips to connect it together and then the third one still is somewhere it went through customs at the end of November it is now the beginning of February and it’s just nowhere so I would definitely buy this from a local Warehouse uh the one I got from the local Warehouse came fine no issues but I would give it probably a seven out of 10 once I get the wire mesh on it but that is a extra cost it comes with a nylon mesh so I would say yes but with a cavie i’ have put it together where you’re going to use it and just be prepared to have a little bit of extra support for it and a better plan before you start but hey you got to learn as you go so the next one is this cucumber trellis it is 4et tall but 5T wide it is a janky piece of crap I would absolutely run away from this uh the connectors would not even begin to hold the the each of these poles Is this different section and the connectors I ended up using electrical tape to try to make them stay together and it’s still not working very well I’m going to go ahead and use it I do have have two of them I’m going to try to use the wire mesh fencing on this as well to make it a little bit stronger but it is really a juny mess so I would run away from this now the garden gazebo that I talked about earlier was about $100 the 7 and5 foot arch that I got over just did was about $35 this was about $25 but I would still run away from this it’s a piece of crap so avoid this at all cost yeah we’re just going to leave that there hopefully it’ll be better and hopefully it’ll work at least one season but I’m not certain about that all right so this is the water MH I was talking about it’s just the metal fencing it’s a 2×3 grid uh I got a 5ft length by 50ft roll for about $55 it is really really good highly recommend it this is what I’m going to put on those trellises to stabilize them just see if you can see behind me so that fencing is what I use to stabilize this and what I’m going to do over here is grow loofah on it I’m going to have garden beds on either in the inside of each of these but we did two lengths of uh of the wire mesh and it has really made this a whole lot sturdier so I’m hoping it will do the same with those other trellises um but it it’s really nice this exactly what you would buy at Lowe’s but it was at least $20 cheaper or more from what I was able to price from last year and all of the stuff I did get last year so but the prices I’m giving you are current I’m not going to include listings on everything because a lot of the listings once they sell X number of products the listing is dead so they really don’t work so I will put the names of what they were called and then you just have to search it when you go to the team website so another thing that I got over here were these LED clipon lights so this area is pretty dark there’s no lighting over here uh these are motion sensor lights and they are extremely bright I’ll put a picture on the screen that I took one night over here uh but they work really really well they do have several different modes so they were $40 for a set of four of them but they’re really really nice they will clip to a fence a tree branch or anything else it’s a pretty wide clip there so I would highly highly recommend any these I would give them a 10 out of 10 they do have three settings it could be completely off and then it comes on bright it could be on a little bit and then comes on bright with motion or I believe it can come on or stay on bright all the time a really great option if you don’t have electrical and you have an area that you really need to have some lighting in for emotions and it works really good here cuz I just clip it on there face it towards the sun and it charges up and they are really really bright they are 6,500 Kevin so they’re super bright lights so the next one is this steel Obelisk it’s really really heavy duty put pictures on the screen so you can see what it looks like in the summertime absolutely gorgeous 18 in by 22 in it is really really heavy highly recommend this it was about $40 for the each or for the Obelisk uh but I would give that absolutely a 10 out of 10 it’s going to be gorgeous in the pots this summer do have two of those and can’t wait to have the plants grow up through them so I do have one another thing that I’m going to be doing an unboxing video of here soon that I got from Teemo just this past week it is an 8 by8 foot popup heavy duty Greenhouse I’m not opened it yet but I will have that coming up soon it was about $100 so keep an eye out for that video so the other things that I have for the Tim video are one Verma composter has a screw on lid it takes forever to pull off it does have a wide open bottom and what you do with this is that you bury this into your raised bed or any any garden bed uh and then you’ll put anything that you would put in a normal compost directly in here and then it’s separated from separated from the dirt so it doesn’t pull all the nitrogen out of the dirt but it does allow the worms to go in and out so I’m really excited I got four of these to put in the beds but I found something at Dollar Tree for $125 that I think will work it just needs a little bit of a tweak so I’ll be sharing that hack in a Dollar Tree video coming up here very very soon but I would recommend these uh if you want to do this uh they run between $8 and $10 depending on the listing uh but they’re PVC and they’re really really heavy plastic so the next thing is this elastic cargo plant support it’s good for Hydroponics also for holding up plants so if you grow a lot of cut flowers this would be a really good thing it’s not quite big enough for my raised beds um it is a two by 4 foot it was about $4 to5 uh it’s not quite going to work for my raised beds but I’m going to figure out how to use it somewhere else uh but it will stretch quite a bit which is not quite long enough for the uh six and A2 foot beds but anyway would recommend it it’s very very well done and it’ll work really good in the right environment or in the right space so the next one is a set of 25 metal tags that I got for about $14 uh they are longer so they will be really good for the flower beds and what I’m hoping last year a lot of my tags got mixed up I think because of the birds and squirrels going through the beds I’m hoping with the longer tags and they’re a little bit heavier that I won’t have that issue the Metal’s not super heavy so you do need to be careful with this but we’ll be able to write on it with a garden marker clear it off at the end of the year and then reuse them next year so I would recommend these I’m really excited about using them they’ll look nice in the garden too so the next thing I got was a folding root tray it was 12 of these units for $18 these are for like uh SN sugar so these are for like sweet peas or other things that don’t like to have their Roots disturb you can go ahead and put it together raise them up and then all you have to do is open it so you’re not pushing that dirt out and really roughing up the roots so they’re not super heavy but definitely worth it and definitely cheaper than some of the stuff I saw online and they’re they’re they’re sturdy a lot sturdier than the black plastic that you get uh from the like for trees and whatnot I had thought about going like that but this is much heavier than that so I would recommend this $18 for 12 of them so I would have 36 contain or 36 spaces to grow things with this so if you’ve ever drog a hose around your garden and you ended up either knocking stuff over completely decapitating a plant yes I’ve done that a h guide would be a really really effective uh item to have so they had three of these for $13 the hose just goes through here it has rollers for it and the spike just goes down into the ground so I’m really looking forward to having these so that I don’t decapitate my plants this year so I would definitely recommend this they’re very heavy duty and they seem to to roll they seem to roll really well the next one I don’t have out here with me but I’ll put a picture on the screen are Zeo refills they’re not Zeo brand but it’s a set of 12 refills for a Zeo unit for $11 highly recommend them probably the best addition to my grow room uh the knots fly to that just the Zeo is got a little blue light in it so at night when it’s dark those knots fly right to it um not had a KN problem this year it’s been wonderful and but the Z refills can be a little expensive and what I got from Teemu was really was basically the same I’ve put them in the units and they worked perfectly so I would highly recommend them so the next thing I got is a set of four terracotta watering pots you would bury these like in OA bury these into your garden they were $16 for four of them I have a cute little cap and you just fill them with water and then the water permeates through the Terracotta into the soil as needed so if you don’t have drip irrigation or you need to be away for a while this may be a really good option for watering your crops while you’re gone so you don’t have to go out there every day with water and can so it’s a good option and they’re really really nice they came a set of four and none of them was broken so very happy with that so everyone needs guarden pruners and they had this set for $7 it is steel it is a heavy unit very very nice uh spring on it Dollar Tree has a lot of these to for $125 and they’re good for the short term but I found that the spring on those tends to pop off and when I was cutting all my garlic up Lash ended up with blisters on my hand so these are a lot nicer I think they’re also a lot stronger so highly recommend these so far seem to be really really good so if you’re looking to put something under your plant to catch water they did have these 12in saucers set of six4 $7 and they’re they’re a little flexible but overall I would say really really good they actually also food safe if you want to use them for Fon but anyway I would recommend these uh for larger pots it’s not bad cuz when you get into the ones at The Big Box store these could be easily $3 or $4 a piece so you got a whole set of six for $7 so not bad uh also a watering can definitely need this for the growroom this was $7 it’s a one gallon I love how it has a longer spout and a narrow spout makes it so much easier to water the plants and not overwater them having a far better time with not growing algae this year than ever before and I think part of it is because I’m not overwatering because I can get just the right amount of water to that without flooding everything out so I would recommend this one it was only it was only $7 so really really nice watering can so if you do often overwater a watering meter would be really good this one actually has three different functions checks the moisture level checks the light level and it also will check your pH it was only $5 so I would highly recommend recommend this as well because I was watering my Myer lemon tree way too much all my layes were turning yellow stopped watering it and it’s looking a whole lot better but I’m keeping a track of how wa how water lock the soil is with this and this one too since I watered so it was really wet so this is a really good idea especially for indoors so if you like garden decor especially things that spin like this wind spinner highly recommend it it was $14 it’s really pretty it has butter flies and dragonflies Little Bees uh flowers hummingbirds really really cute highly recommend it as well all right so this this last item is going to be Garden adjacent because we’re talking about all our preservation that we’ll be doing once we have all of the wonderful vegetables out of the garden this season but it is this cover for the glass top stove was about $13 they run between 12 and 14 all kinds of different options out there it’s just absolutely gorgeous has butterflies and flowers so I had to get it highly recommend it it is a very heavy anti-slip backing do be careful though don’t turn the stove on with it on there because it will melt and make a disastrous mess but it will protect the the surface of the stove and it is a really really pretty thing to have on the stove so so there you have it so for the most part I would recommend everything the only thing that I would run away from is the Cucumber trellis if you’re interested in some of the other things that I’ve purchased and my Dollar Tree haul also check out this video and until the next time I hope you have a very wonderful day and bye

  1. I am wanting to buy a greenhouse, so I look forward to your video on that!😊 I found this video very interesting. I had a space a in a drive-through community garden in the past with 2 friends, as it was too big for me alone. It was so awesome as we all had a variety of veggies that we planted, it was fun and a good learning experience. This I will be planting in the back yard, but am no longer in climate that can have all season gardening, which is why I'm going to be buying a relatively small greenhouse to I can have fresh veggies for longer than a season, hopefully can stretch it to maybe 9 months of fresh veggies? Here's hoping!😊

  2. I LOVED this haul! You answered many of my questions about severely of the products. So happy to have found your channel.
