For today’s tour, I’m going to try and do more of a pullback vs an up close look at what’s growing in my garden. Remember, I moved in 1 year ago and most of the garden was planted last fall or this spring, so it’s still a work in progress!

  1. Thank you for showing us the overview. I like the hardscape you have used including fence, pavers and concrete walks. I can’t count the number of times I moved plants but it worked in the long run. I learned 50 years ago to keep one of my favorite flowers, the daffodil, out of walkways and front edges of any bed. Mine were better off as backgrounds. Tip: they are far easier to move out of damp spring soil and back into the ground somewhere else instead of replanting in the fall. I’m looking forward to the next tour.

  2. Lovely! Daffodils are wild flowers in Tennessee! A field of them are really pretty to see. Sorry Bout the hail storm. Thought you were gonna put rhe peony flower in your hair behind your ear. Potpouri time!

  3. I definitely did enjoy it and I thank you for doing it! You’re so beautiful! I just love that you’re transparent, it helps me feel hopeful and encouraged (I tend to garden like you, gradually learning what works where I live). Trial and error gardening. I enjoy seeing all your progress and hearing of your future plans! You’ve accomplished so much! And you truly inspire me!
    Abundant Blessings…

  4. I love it all, especially the rose garden! Very ambitious but you have the will and the space, but most impressive is you love!!
You had posted a video a while back recommending hose sprinkler timers. I looked high low among your videos and can’t find it. Would you please provide the name of the one you had recommended? Thanks so much!

  5. Sorry to see that the hail damaged some of your flowers. We have a lot of wind here that will knock out rows of our plants that are more “stalk” based versus shrubs. Seeing the peonies beat down and the one that broke off just hurts my plant loving heart. I hope the weather is much better for you and your garden can fully recover quickly!!
