One acre of hemp produces 25 % more oxygen than one acre of forest and guarantees a cellulose supply that is approximately twice as high.
One acre of hemp grows within 6 months, while a forest grows for decades before it is harvested.
By making hemp paper, we could save millions of hectares of forest every year.
Hemp can be used in textile production, construction and even as biofuel…….🥰 #book_records, #facts, #interestingfacts, #worldrecords, #science, #history, #childheroes, #doctors, #shorts

  1. Back in the day when they were giving others people land away to other people that they stole from etc….. they were required to grow hemp! I think I will! 🎉

  2. Hemp business and the whole application of it was destroyed by a certain family pushing an oil and petroleum business agenda… Know your history, make conclusions to avoid the same mistakes again…. A single "bulb" will always be destroyed and put down by a bunch of "candles"….

  3. Everyone is bypassing the truth of why we really like it.. My first thought wasn’t a rope….bet you can smell this field from 10 miles away

  4. Then politics and governments came along hell. I bet if china started using hemp material we wouldnt take china products as a joke anymore

  5. Someone make this a reality!!! Deforestation is part of global warming. Trees suck in heat and disperse the energy into the earth into cooler places.

  6. It all started back in the early 20s when the printing presses were starting to switch to hemp and the big ones didn’t want to so they started the whole weed madness.

  7. Hemp was banned by the oil companies after the war due to its use as a bio fuel. Weed that you smoke is the other sex of this plant. Thats the confusion. One sex gets you high, the other sex does everything else. It’s not only rope for hundreds of years. It is cotton. Best protein for workouts. It can be planted anywhere and rejuvenate the field by plowing it under to naturally put the minerals back into the soil. Big fertilizer companies don’t like it either. The one plant that should mandatory going to Mars!

  8. The plastic and polyester industries lobbied hard to outlaw hemp. All the riggings on our military ships thru WW11 were hemp.

  9. Interesting?! Didn’t know this?! But if it’s true then why aren’t we planting more hemp to combat global warming?!?!

  10. As nice as it would be if this came to pass with a environmentally friendly planned out course where the forest can begin to regrow and re introduce bio diversity in many places, I can imagine big company’s would just keep removing the forest at a similar rate as they are and just replacing them with hemp fields. Much like they are doing with the palm oil trees in the Amazon.

  11. Its not a viable carbon sync. Especially if the maturity rate is so quick. We wouldn't even make a dent. We messed this up a long time ago with destoying bogs and marshes and cutting down the old growth

  12. As others have said the government stops people from growing hemp because of the lobbyists for companies that would lose money because hemp would replace their products.
