To celebrate National Children’s Gardening Week, Lee Connelly, also known as the Skinny Jean Gardener on YouTube, launches a new 5-part documentary following his journey across the country on the School Gardening Tour.
The YouTube-only documentary premieres since Connelly was announced as an ambassador for National Children’s Gardening Week 24 May – 1 June.
Connelly says viewers can expect “a real rollercoaster of emotions,” as the documentary aims to inspire 10,000 children through the power of gardening.
The documentary looks into what schools are achieving, alongside any challenges and conversations involving the horticulture industry.
Episode one will be out Saturday 24 May at 9am on the Skinny Jean Gardener YouTube channel, with following episodes to be released throughout the week.
