You can always rely on Birdie Fortescue for imbuing interiors with timeless character and charm. Ditto Butter Wakefield and her arsenal of tricks for gardening success.
So, bring both women together and you’ll be guaranteed to get something rather spectacular.
Enter: The Nasturtium Collection, which has been lovingly designed by the pair from Birdie’s Norfolk studio.
As you might expect, the collection is brimming with Nasturtium flowers – the name certainly says it all – and takes note from the flower’s pretty colour palette too, with orange, pink and green hues adorning the homeware.
But inspiration also comes from the beauty of being in (and hosting in) the English summer garden, “blending Butter’s love of eclectic tablescaping with Birdie’s signature style, featuring bold patterns, lively colours, and playful details”.
Indeed, in true Birdie fashion, you’ll find lashings of timeless stripes and bold colour pairings rubbing shoulders with floral patterns – which err on the side of contemporary rather than chintzy – all on a foundation of cotton-linen blends and premium materials.
Birdie is no stranger to the joy of joining forces. She previously collaborated with the effervescent Sarah Corbett-Winder on not one but two collections, both of which proved to be sell-out popular.
Butter, too, has worked with many tastemakers, having masterminded tranquil, atmospheric gardens for the likes of Matilda Goad and Rita Konig.
