The tomato (see pronunciation) is the edible, red fruit of Solanum lycopersicum, commonly known as a tomato plant, which belongs to the nightshade family, Solanaceae. The species originated in Central and South America. The Nahuatl (Aztec language) word tomatl gave rise to the Spanish word “tomate”, from which the English word tomato originates.
Numerous varieties of tomato are widely grown in temperate climates across the world, with greenhouses allowing its production throughout the year and in cooler areas. The plants typically grow to 1–3 meters (3–10 ft) in height and have a weak stem that often sprawls over the ground and vines over other plants.
⟹ Here is the progress of my micro dwarf tomatoes in 3 weeks! Peppers, Tomatoes, Vegetables
Wow, I can’t shoot a live stream from this phone. Says even if you even if you rotate the phone, the buttons will always be located next to the charging port. Why? Why do I need to know this? And how do I get out of it? Holy mackerel, man. I can’t believe they just made me go through all this. I’m sorry for the aggravation and my frustration with me, guys. But I just been trying to do these live stream for the last I don’t know 20 minutes trying to get these started. And it the phone’s like has this whole process. It’s a new phone, by the way. It has this whole process. In order for me to do a live stream, I have to go through the I I just I I can’t let it get to me. I’m sorry, man. But anyways, uh I just wanted to shoot a quick live stream and show you some of the varieties of uh micro dorfs that I got growing. So, people are asking me about um some of the some of the varieties that I got that they’re interested in buying. They want to buy the plants, but unfortunately I don’t have enough plants to be able to uh offer. But we’re we’re growing this one this year. This is a microorf version right here. Maja, we’re growing Cameon. This is also another microdorf version. Neat and sweet. We’re doing we’re doing whatever that’s called. Just figure it out for yourself. Uh jewel beetles something right there. You could also see you see all the you can see all of the uh tomatoes are uh the plants are getting flowers on them. We got chubby bunny there. We got that one in the back. Whatever that is. Gothic. We got I don’t know what this is supposed to say. Fuk. It’s a micro dwarf. So, that one’s going to be real fun. Um, we also have uh these are these are going to these are all my dwarf varieties from the dwarf tomato project. So, these will be going into the 5gallon containers that I’m setting up now. And you can see, you know, I’m potting up a lot of these as well. So, like, you’re probably interested in these right here. Uh, bridges. This is uh this is a very very very high demand variety right now. Unfortun It’s a variegated woolly variety of micro dorf. It’s It’s a very strange variety, but everybody wants that one. So, yeah, we’re growing them out. We got a whole bunch of pots coming up with those. There’s four plants in each pot. So, we might separate them down the road, or we might just leave them the way they are. So, I’m not sure. Um, this one here has a variant that’s coming out of it that’s not like the other ones. I don’t know. I needed to separate this. I got to I may have to pull that pot out and rip that one plant out of there cuz I don’t know what that is, but it’s a variant that’s coming out of Allure. So, I’m not sure. I may have to rip that one out. Uh, we got we got this, which is another micro dorf. I don’t know how you would pronounce that. So, I’m just letting you read them yourself. We also have some of the charter root varieties that are coming in. You can see they’re coming in nice. This one’s called tigerette yellow. Now, a lot of people are calling these particular types of micro dorfs over here, just so you know. They’re calling them micro dorfs. And in my opinion, they’re not really microdorfs. They’re more of a dwarf variety, but I’m just writing it down as I receive the seeds and what everybody else is listing it as. They’re calling these charter varieties micro dwarfs because they stay really small in pots. But if you let this plant grow long enough, it’ll actually start to get to 2 to 3 feet tall. All these Charter Ruth varieties, they’re very, very, very slow growing for whatever reason. And so, people are like naming them micro dors, but they’re really not micro dwarfs, just so you know. We got GG’s Glory right here. This is another one. New microdorf here. We’re growing that one. So, we got a few of those coming up. And what else we got here? We got we got this one here, which is orange dwee. And that’s another one that everybody’s kind of asking about. You can see it’s see it’s already flowering like crazy. I mean, these plants, we can’t even keep up with the rate of growth on these plants. They’re going so fast. I mean, what you’re looking at right here is probably this is probably about 3 weeks complete from seed start to where we’re at now. So, it’s moving and it’s moving very, very quickly. Again, the soil we’re using is for the for our plants this year only bec only because we don’t have a a lot of time this year. We got a lot of things we’re doing. So, the soil mix we’re using here is uh half a bag of Pete Moss. This is I’m not sure what happened if I lost what I’m sorry guys that it’s I got to have to set my my system up. This is we got a whole bunch of new new equipment so I’m not sure why it keeps cutting out. So you just got to be patient. I need to show you that soil on the back there. And that’s going to take me time in order. I have to hook all these extra wireless things up just so I can walk outside my house because uh the wireless system that Frontier provides is basically garbage. So, but that mushroom soil right there, guys, that stuff right there, if you can get that mushroom soil from your local nursery, you got it made. That’s the soil that you want to use for your pots. And you you could see the health of my plants. I want you to see this. You look how healthy these plants are. They’re absolutely vibrant yellow. They’re not yellow, but like vibrant green. And these pots I mean these plants. This is only about 3 weeks, guys. I mean, look at I mean, look at this, guys. This is 3 weeks. This is a dwarf variety. It’s called uh or it’s it’s a it’s a compact variety. But look at how the size of this plant in 3 weeks, guys. And this is in this little thing here. I got to get them out of here. I I got to transplant all this stuff. But I’m gonna tell you right now, that soil is unbelievable. I’ve never used anything quite like it like this mushroom soil. The the great thing about the mushroom soil is that it’s it’s soil. It’s a type of soil or medium they use to grow mushrooms. And the good thing about doing that is the soil is pre-ininoculated. I want to show you this. I got to show you this. I might have to run over there and maybe you’ll get a quick look at it, but the soil is pre-ininoculated. I want to show you what it looks like so bad. Um, it’s you could see all the white fuzz that’s growing around that soil. That’s all the natural uh, you know, the myasylin from the from the mushrooms they grow. And it’s it when you plant in that, it’s I can’t even describe to you the growth factor. I mean, look at this. And the only thing I added to my soil here, the only thing that’s added to it is a couple handfuls of sand. Uh, it’s 50% Pete Moss. 50% of that. I threw a bag of that uh or you know, Miracle Grow, whatever you want to call it, back there. I threw a bag in there only because I had them and I got to get rid of them because they’re starting to get green on the inside, you know, from the light and everything. So, they’re already getting old. But I I I that’s that’s not why my my plants are doing really good. My plants are doing really good is because the mushroom right there. That’s it, guys. That’s the key. And you can see that the development of these plants is I’ve never seen anything like this. I mean, these plants are growing so fast and so healthy. you’re you’re like literally wasting your money when you buy all those those things for your soil like the you know the blood meal and all that stuff. And the other thing I the other two things I add to it and just so you know cuz you’re probably wondering is as I put in I put in roughly a 5gallon pale right I take a 5gallon pale and I I fill it you know with the perlite here and then uh I add this to it. This is called um it’s called fossil shell flour but actually dietimmacous earth is what this is but I use this because it’s a secondary macronutrient so you need calcium in your soil that’s why my plants never you never see them suffering from calcium because I add a lot of dietimmacous earth into my soil and my plants have that in there for them to uptake plus it you know it’s has other it has silica in it too this is another thing that people don’t know about is The silica that’s inside of here is very very good for plant structure and growth. It makes plants grow very very healthy. So most soils are actually lacking the silica. So I get the silica and I get the calcium in there which is very very important for your plants. So I’ll add maybe you know you know I’ll add like there’s a this I don’t know what this is. This is like a yogurt thing. This is like one of the I don’t know is that maybe a quart or whatever. So, I add like one one to one and 1/2 quarts of that per five gallons of um perlite. And then I’m adding the azamite. I’ll add maybe uh about a cup’s worth of azimite to that. And that’s all I add. Oh, and then I add a little bit of um you know, I add a little of [Applause] this stuff here. And this is called um humus or humic acid. That this is called humic acid. Uh so it’s naturally present in soil, but that humic acid really fires up, you know, the plant’s abilities to really develop well in her early stages, which is really what you need if you want to get past the blight season. So if you’re trying to if you’re trying to plant your plants and avoid all the early and late blight that comes in, the best thing you can do is like I have here. I built this thing. So, uh, this thing keeps the rain off my plants. The rain is contaminated with blight already. So, it keeps the rain off of it. And at the same time, um, uh, my plants are absorbing all of that stuff that I’m showing you and they’re growing really healthy. That gives you a long start. Now, these plants sometimes if they live long enough, I actually bring them in and winter them over. I have wintered these micro dwarfs, some of them over over the winters and had them grow for a second year. Most people would tell you that’s impossible, a determinate variety. No, they’re not. They’re actually called a dwarf variety and dwarfs fall outside the range of determinants, but they’re like determinants. So once you pick them, they’ll generally die. But if you know how to prune them, and I’ve done videos on how to prune these plants, they’ll actually come back and they’ll grow again. And they’ll re if you can winter them over, they’ll regrow when spring comes, the next year. And they put out a pretty good abundance of tomatoes. And the stems get really woody on them. Oh, got a helicopter up ahead. So, just wanted you guys to know that. And yeah, give you a little heads up. I figured I’d shoot a little quick live stream for you. And um so let me just turn you around real quick and see what’s going on with the comments. We do not have anybody commenting in here. We got Emily. Hello, Emily. It says, “Uh, I don’t know how to put you up on the screen.” I’d put you up there, Emily. I know there’s a lot of people. No, I don’t want to pin the message. I don’t even know how to get out of this again. I I can’t I got to fool around with this phone when I get time and just see the way things are. Now, let me just show you the soil after I mix it. So, after I mix the soil, I want to show you this. This is what it looks like when I’m done. I mean, if you smell this, it smells so good. You almost want to eat it. It’s literally that good. Oh my god, this smells so good, guys. It’s unbelievable. Look at this. It’s a little bit wet or more more wet than I’m used to um making my soils. And that’s because it’s been raining for like I don’t know 14 days now. And every now and again it doesn’t rain. So, I run out here right away and I try to mix my soil if I could get a day that it doesn’t rain. But this is like some of the mushroom. This is what’s going to be in that mushroom mulch, right? It’s going to be this kind of stuff. Now, it’s almost like it’s it’s it’s about 80% broken down already. So, it’s really good stuff. If you guys have a nursery that’s that’s actually holding this kind of soil, that is what you want. That is key. This is actually better than all the other videos I did on a lot of the other soils I used. the the the performance I’m getting out of this mushroom soil. I I I got to be honest with you, I’ve never I’ve never had such good results as I am getting out of that soil. I I got to show you the soil. Let me let me run over here. Hopefully I don’t lose you. Don’t Don’t walk away. Right here, you see all this gray that you see all that? If you still aren’t connected, that right there is all of my That gray right there. That’s all the fungus that’s in there. not fungus, but that’s the mushrooms. That’s the [Music] uh I know I’m running around because I I got to I got to um I got to extend my Wi-Fi. I didn’t I I didn’t think that would be a problem. I have a they gave me an extender. I just got new service with it. So, they gave me an extender and I I took it out cuz I don’t want to bathe myself in that 24 hours a day. So, I remember to rehook that up when I shoot live streams because that way I can kind of bring you out here and then show you some of what’s going on. So, um but that if you if you’ve seen that on the video, if you seen that gray look on there, that is all the myellin that’s coming off of from the mushrooms that they grew in there ahead of time. That soil is absolutely number one, that soil is absolutely inoculated with mushrooms already. So, you don’t have to worry about microisa. And the other good thing about it is when they grow mushrooms, they have to absolutely grow those mushrooms in in the most sterile conditions you can imagine. So there’s there that soil is going to be completely free of like early blight, late blight, black spot, septoriia, and all of that. You’re not going to have any of that. That soil is literally like almost good enough to eat to be honest with you. It’s so clean and pure. There’s no diseases in it. So if you see that soil, definitely buy it. That’s that’s my number one recommendation to you. You could see like look at it. This is a chunk of it, right? I break it up. It’s kind of like dog but it’s not it’s not it’s not any kind of manure at all. This is just this is the medium they use to uh create the the the uh the soil, the mushroom mulch. This is what they um this is what they use. I don’t know what it is. It’s some kind of It might be like field hay or something. I I’m not sure. I don’t know what they use in it, but man, I’ll tell you that that stuff is unbelievable. I’m so impressed with the quality of that stuff and the results of my plants. I mean, guys, I’ve never had my plants explode in 3 weeks like this. I mean, this is phenomenal. Look at this. This is 3 weeks worth of growth. And as soon as I transplant these, within about another 3 or 4 days, they’ll basically be doubled in size. All of these will. These are they’re they’re kind of rootbound right now, but they’re the dwarf varieties, and those got to go into those pales. So, what I might do is like shoot a video on me doing a planting. I just got to set up everything and do the video. And then I’ll show you how I actually plant in one of those pales with the soil. I’m not going to show you how I assemble it cuz I’ve done many videos on that already, so you already know that. But I’m going to show you how you put the soil into that pale. And there’s kind of a certain way to do it. If you don’t do it right, the whole pale, the whole inside of the pale starts to compress down. Like mid-season, it drops down like another 2 in. So, you have to know how to set the pale up with the soil, how how much you pack it down and stuff. So, I want to do a planting for you on a video just to show you how I do it. So, when you do plant your pales, you’re going to have good success at the end of the year. Just so you guys know that. Uh what else we got here? So, let me just show you a couple of the uh some of these varieties. Some of the ones I’m really really excited about. This one here, this one’s fascinating. Look at this. This is called a uh it’s a charter root variety. In other words, it’s like one of these. See these light green? That’s called the charter root. So, this is a charter root, but this is new. I’d never seen this before. This is a potato leaf chart. I don’t know how I ended up with it. Maybe they gave it to me as free seed or I paid for it. I’m not I don’t remember how I got this, but that’s what it’s called. Dwarf Zo Sweet. It’s a dwarf tomato project variety. It’s It’s absolutely phenomenal. You if you could see the color of this thing. I don’t know how to describe it, but look at the yellow on this thing. It’s absolutely gorgeous this plant. And it’s not sick. That’s not because it’s not getting nutrients. That’s just the nature of the tomato plant. Again, all these charter roots varieties. So, anybody growing these, you’re going to notice that they’re very slow growing and you really got to pay a lot of attention to these varieties. Uh, this one here, this is called Oh, this is Phil’s Phil’s two. This is something interesting, too. I want to show you guys Phil’s 2. And, uh, it’s the green variety of like a Traveler’s tomato. But the interesting thing about this particular fills too, unlike a lot of my other varieties, for some reason, the plant is exhibiting uh variegation in the leaves, it’s it’s a v slightly variegated version of phils. So, I’m going to I’m going to kind of I’m just I don’t know if it’s supposed to do that. I looked into it, but I can’t tell if if it’s supposed to do that. So, it’s kind of exhibiting some variegation. So, what I need to do is to plant like 10 plants of this and see if one comes out heavily variegated. And that’s the one that I want to isolate. But you could see it’s a gorgeous it’s a gorgeous plant and it’s already starting to fruit. I mean, a lot of these are starting to get tomato. I mean, look at this. I’m getting flowers on there already. Isn’t that incredible? Here’s another one. This is a dwarf tomato project variety. And that’s called dwarf harmonic con something. I don’t remember connection dwarf. I have to abbreviate it because I can’t fit an entire paragraph on one of these little tags. So, I mean, if you’re going to name these plants, guys, name it something where it’s not too much to to name cuz you know, how do we supposed to fit that on there? So, that’s another variety. This a potato leaf. This is also from the dwarf tomato project. I’m very big fan of the dwarf tomato project type of tomatoes. are definitely great. Uh here’s one here. Tasty wine. Now, I grew this last year and um I just didn’t have a lot of success with it. I’m not sure why. It was just kind of a rough year. Again, I was in and out of the hospitals last year, so I really couldn’t focus on anything. So, unfortunately, a lot of my variety suffered. But, this is an absolutely gorgeous variety. And um we’re trying it again this year, and hopefully uh by the end of the year, we will have seed for it. And again, that’s going to be planted in the pales. Last year, I was planting a lot of my overage plants out in the garden last year. So, it was a little rough last year. Uh, here’s another nice variety. This one’s called Dwarf Alley’s July, and this is a variegated variety. Very beautiful variegated variety. Um, I’m not sure where I got these seeds from. It might be victory seed maybe. Not sure. Uh somebody who’s carrying the um dwarf uh varieties. I love this variety. I love all the dwarf tomato varieties. There’s another here’s another variegated variety. Man, these plants are I mean this one’s called dwarf flash ace. So flat that’s a this is a nice one. So, if you see the seed for that, we don’t have it this year, but maybe next year we should have it. Hopefully, we’ll get some tomatoes off it, which I think we will. Uh, we got four plants in there. And, um, very beautiful variegated regular leaf variety. And, uh, it is a dwarf. Here’s another one. Look at the size of these plants already, guys. This is unbelievable. They got this big this quick. I cannot even keep up with it. I’m’ll be honest with you. That’s like literally my third my third mix. Uh that mix that pile right there is about 3 ft high when I’m done. And it’s about as wide as what you see. That’s my third mix. I can’t even keep up with these plants. That’s how good they’re growing this year with that mushroom soil. If that mushroom soil, man, that’s it. That’s key right there. But, uh, this one’s called, [Applause] um, this one’s called Dwarf Shimmering Beauty. And as you could see, it’s a gorgeous. Look at these plants. Look how stout and strong they are, guys. That’s three weeks worth of growth from the time from the time I started it from seed to where it is now. Seen anything like this. These plants are exploding in growth and I’m not vising them there or anything. I’m just using that stuff, man. Wow. Another This is a wild variety from the Galapagos Islands from the island of um uh Isabella, I think it’s called. It’s another another wild variety from the Galapagos Islands. So, we do offer that variety on hro seeds.com. And um that is available now. But this is a really hard variety to grow. So, if you plant that, it can take up to 3 or 4 weeks before this. This thing just basically sprouted like maybe a week ago. And you can see it’s already getting big. But this is a very very very slow growing variety. We got some more stick growing. I might do a few more sticks this year. I got I got like several variations of stick I’m growing for tomatoes. Uh this one’s called stick orange, but I have stick brown, stick yellow. I also have some other variants of stick tomatoes that came out that are kind of strange. So, I’m working on those on my own. I may not make them available, but I’ll I’ll shoot videos on them just to make you aware of them and show you what’s going on. Um, we got this one here, Wagen Wonder. It’s a German variety of microdorf. And, uh, it’s a wonderful variety. Absolutely wonderful. We got the mini marzanos coming in. We got so many. I’m going to be doing like maybe what you see here, probably double of what you see here. It’s not that many, but you got to remember that I’m growing four plants per pot, and they spread out really nicely, and they give me a really good harvest at the end of the year. So, here’s another uh look at that. Uh what what they call it? A they call some like some websites are referring to this as a dwarf and some of them are calling it a micro dorf. So, I don’t know what to tell you. I don’t know how to list it. In my opinion, all the all the charter root varieties, they all if you let them live long enough, they will just eventually get to 3 ft. But most of the time, people plant them in pots like this. So, they’ll grow like a micro dorf and they don’t really get big. And they only put out a few tomatoes and then the plant eventually dies cuz it gets rootbound and everything. But if you put that into a big enough container and you just let it grow and grow and grow and it doesn’t get sick, that plant will will get to like three feet tall eventually. They all do. It’s a very beautiful variety. I really love these charter roots varieties. And that was regular leaf. And then of course, you know, you can see here this is the um the potato leaf, which is I’m absolutely thrilled. I didn’t even know this one was a uh charter root variety. So yeah, I kind of got lucky on that one. Oh my goodness. new phone I got, by the way. So, hopefully things are look a little better on camera. I don’t look as wide as I did before. For some reason, that other camera like made me had like a fisheye lens on it. Kind of just made your face look like it was wide. So, is there anybody There’s nobody in here today. Looks like a few people are watching, but there’s nobody commenting. Is there anybody in the comment sections who have any questions about uh what I’m growing here as far as the micro dorf tomatoes and the dwarf varieties? If you have any questions on it and which which ones would you be interested in? Also too, I wanted to to um I wanted to talk a little bit about uh hrc.com and the seeds that we’re offering. I know we’re out of stock on a lot of seeds, so you’re just going to have to be patient until we can get stuff back in. Um, there’s some people that are looking for certain varieties like Allore and Sissy’s Bridges and some of the others. If you message me, then maybe I can spare a little bit of that seed for you if you want, but you have to you have to get me on email and um, you know, um, contact me there. That’s the best way to do it. You know, people try to call me on the phone. I don’t answer the phone, just so you know. I have to do everything through email. And the reason why I do that is because I need a I need a transcript of the conversation I have with people cuz sometimes there’s liabilities involved. And so I prefer to have a transcript of my communications. Have to do that when you’re in business, guys. Especially nowadays I deal, if you’ve seen some of the people that I have to deal with, unfortunately, they’re not exactly the nicest uh people in the world. Um is is is there anybody here? I mean, can you somebody make a comment on a section? There’s like one or two comments in here. I don’t know if the comment section’s working or not working. I don’t know what’s going on here. Why is the comments? Sorry about that. My hands are all dirty. I’m playing with mud while I’m doing the live stream and I got to handle my phone. Can somebody make a comment or you can’t comment? Is there some Is there a problem with the comets? Not sure what’s going on. I’m still gota I still have to kind of figure out how this works because it’s new. It looks like Emily made a couple comments. Was it? I don’t know. Dropping off. We’re losing people. We’re losing views. I don’t want to keep you on here too long. I did want to talk about HR seeds though. A couple things with it. Um, we can’t keep up with all the varieties that we’re offering anymore on HRC. So, a lot of the varieties that you see there are eventually going to um they’re going to die off, unfortunately. So, we’re going we’re we’re not going to be offering them anymore. Um but we do have some of the older seed. If you want some of that older seed, you can request it on another order and we’ll probably throw it in for you for free. And um if we if we have if we have the variety, we’ll throw that in for you for free at on your order. But um we’re not going to be able to keep up with a lot of those varieties. It’s just becoming impossible. The peppers are are just there’s they’re only the seeds only last about a year to two years and that’s it. And we keep them like in cool environment out of light and everything and they don’t last more than a couple years and then and then we have to regrow it again. It’s just too much for us right now. We need to either relocate or we need to um you know uh just import the seed if we can. And it’s too it’s too there’s too much uh risk associated with me importing seed from other countries. It’s just too too much risk. Uh so we we we just can’t keep up with it. It’s too much. But um if if you’re interested in some of the seeds that you see there that are not in stock, if we have them and you and you place an order with us and you request and you make a request that you want some of the older seed, if we have it, we’ll give it to you for free. We don’t want anything for it. It’s older seed. it may or may not sprout. Um, you have to soak them. You got to do the whole hydrogen peroxide thing and then uh often times you’ll get at least one seed to pop up. We we’ll give you a little handful of it, but we’re not offering it anymore, unfortunately. And we’re probably not going to be offering it in the future. Now, the other thing I wanted to to talk about, if you do like those varieties of seed and you want to see them come back on hrced.com, you need to select back in stock request and request that variety in there. and we get like notifications of varieties. There’s a lot of people they request back in stock and if you get enough requests for that particular variety, we’ll bring that back. We’ll bring that variety back. We’ll go through the trouble of of bringing the variety back into, you know, into stock. But if you don’t hit back in stock request, then we don’t know what people want and what they don’t want. It’s a lot of work for us to grow our our peppers every year and our tomatoes. So, you know, we we don’t want to waste space because we want to sell what people want, not what people are not going to really buy. I mean, there’s some varieties like Tekken Domasi that was a a pepper variety. We maybe sold a dozen varieties a year, maybe 20 varieties a year. That’s not enough for us to continue to grow that, you know, perpetually year in and year out. And they just don’t buy enough of it. And so, as a result of that, that variety is now becoming extinct. And once it’s extinct, that’s it. we’re not you ain’t going to be able to get it anymore. Um so we’re still carrying a lot of the older varieties from um you know pepper lovers and some of the other sites and they’re no longer around and I’m the only guy who’s still trying to grow those varieties but there’s not enough people requesting it. So if you see a seed variety you want, you need to select back in stock request and then uh that way I get notifications and then I keep track of which which notifications are really priority and then I’ll if the if there’s enough requests for it then I eventually bring it back and grow it. But we can’t afford to grow everything anymore. We it’s just we completely outgrew this environment and we can’t keep up with it guys. We just can’t keep up with it. So, is there anybody can can anybody um I I don’t know if you’re able to make a um a comment on here or not. I don’t know what’s going on here. Chat filter community moderation. I don’t know. I don’t know. I don’t know if the chat is working or it’s dead cuz the last chat I got was from Emily. I don’t think anybody could comment on here. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. Anybody if anybody could just like say boo or something. I don’t know. I don’t know what’s going on with this. What’s this thing here? It says green screen. Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I got to be careful what I’m pressing here. Oh man. Oh man. You got to be kidding me. Seriously. Oh wow. This is actually pretty cool. I didn’t know you could do this. I have no idea what’s There’s all kinds of new features on here. Let’s get rid of the green screen. Please. Oh my god. Don’t allow it. Oh no, I can’t do it. It says done. Oh no. Oh my god. It won’t let me shut the green screen off. I’m going to have to Oh man, this is terrible, dude. What in the I I mean, seriously, it says to upload a thumbnail, allow access. I don’t want to upload a thumbnail. I want to end it. I’m done with it, man. Oh my god. This is so embarrassing. How do I get rid of this? It won’t do it. It won’t shut it off. Isn’t that great? Don’t you love technology? So, you get to look at me. Oh my god. This is absolutely embarrassing. Oh my god. YouTube, you really got it. You got some work to do, man. Oh my god. I can’t shut it off. There it goes. There it goes. It doesn’t tell you the off button. Oh my god. I think my neighbor watches my videos. Jean, if you’re watching these videos, it’s all right. I know I could be embarrassing sometimes. So, yeah. I don’t know. I don’t know what’s going on with the chat. I don’t even know how to find the chat room. It says chat filters all messages. There it goes. Oh my god. Did I really have to go through that to turn it? I I mean, I bought a new phone. I bought the new Galaxy phone, like a new one, and um it’s a good phone. It’s actually better than the old one. The old one, dude, that thing that thing was literally swelling up in the middle. I I should show it to you. It started swelling up in the middle. I was afraid that I’m It’s going to blow up in the side of my head and like blow a hole through my head. It’s swelling up. It’s actually the screen on it is is separating from the body. I’d never seen anything like is this am I is that thing like ready to blow up and blow a hole in my head or something or what? So yeah, I see some people’s comments in here now. I see. Yeah, there’s Master Yip in there. I want to put them on the screen, but I can’t. I remember Master Yip. It says put user in timeout. I don’t want to do that. I just want to put you on the freaking screen, dude. I mean, I need that is if I could get one of you guys to like do a private live stream with me so I could practice. Like I don’t know what these things do, dude. There’s literally like a dozen things on here I never seen before and if you touch them the whole thing gets messed up and I really want to use a lot of these features cuz they’re great. But there’s Master Yip. I haven’t seen you in a long time. Good to see you around. We got Johnny Price. Johnny Price. That name sounds familiar. I know. Do I know you from Facebook? I have a I have a a couple of prices from Facebook that I know on there or I think I know says do you have do you uh do you have a review of gold nugget tomato? No, I don’t I don’t think so. Gold nugget. I have a review of the gold I think in I think it’s called golden nugget gold nugget pepper I think is what I got. I don’t know about gold nugget tomato. I don’t know if I ever even heard of that one. It says, “I tried this. I tried it this year. Excited for results.” Okay, I’ll look into it. What is Is it like a uh cherry tomato, I’m imagining, is or is it like a beef steak tomato? Cuz I grow like Oh my god. I I I I can’t really find another use for another cherry tomato. I literally grow like hundreds upon hundreds of varieties of cherry tomatoes. So, yeah. I mean, uh, I’ll look into that, though. I’ll definitely check that out. It’s called, um, Golden Nugget Tomato. Yeah, it’s it’s good. I like when people give me requests cuz some people really like bring up some really interesting varieties. I’ve never heard of them before, but they’re like very popular. So, yeah, that’s uh that would definitely be interesting. I’ll look into it. I’m very big on the uh right now I’m very big on um these these uh dwarf tomato project varieties. very big on them. Uh later on in the year, I’m going to show you, let me just flip you. I’m going to show you what these varieties will do here. I’m going to show you each one of these. I’m going to do reviews on all of those. And they’re absolutely phenomenal varieties. You guys are going to absolutely love these. I got to get this thing out of here before it falls. But I’m going to show you what these varieties look like when they’re loaded with tomatoes. And believe me when I tell you, believe me when I tell you, the the the amount of tomatoes that those plants produce is I it’s ridiculous. It’s absolutely stupid ridiculous. I mean, the plants I mean, I I make these uh Where are you here? Let me turn that around. I make my pales, right? And then I make the hoops on top. They work for a while, but once you start getting 40 to 50 pounds of tomatoes on them, I can’t even I have to like stabilize the whole pale and everything. I got to lock everything down because the it’s like even if a bird lands on it, the whole thing wants to fall over. I mean, you’re talking 40 to 50 lbs of tomatoes on each one of these things. So, by the time you’re done, by the time you’re done, I can barely move the pale around by the handle without, you know, pulling on my shoulder. It’s pretty heavy. I mean, it’s it’s got a lot of weight on. You can move them. I’m just saying there’s a lot of weight on them. No, probably not. I’m I’m in Michigan. It says, “Uh, yeah, cherry.” Uh, supposed to be smaller than the Sunold, but heirloom. Okay. So, Sunold, there’s the two varieties of Sunold. You have Sunold and then you got Sunold Select. Okay. Sunold Select was a variety made by um what was his name? He’s the tomato breeder. Wagner, was that his name? Tom Wagner? I think that’s his name. It’s just the two guys. I forget them two mixed up all the time. It’s Tom Wagner and is the other guy. And um he created the tomato and he called it Sunold Select. And it’s a compact variety and it’s extremely productive. I’ve grown that already. It’s it’s a really strange variety. I think they’re referring to these varieties now as uh super determinate varieties cuz they’re not quite determinate. So determinate kind of grow and then put out their fruit and then die. But these super determinant varieties will they’ll grow they’ll put out their fruit and then they’ll kind of die and then they put out like a second harvest or something some it’s really strange. It’s it’s they’re Russian varieties. They come they’re originated from Russia. So if you’re getting into those kind of varieties uh you should look if you’re not getting into them you should actually look into them because those are really good varieties to grow. It says probably not. Yeah the cherry. So yeah, if you don’t if you don’t grow the um if you’re not growing the compact varieties, definitely look into it. It might be more in your favor. So like for example, when I grow my compact varieties in those pales, it’s they’re like hanging baskets. So it they all hang down and it makes so many tomatoes. It’s absolutely stupid. It’s really dumb. I mean, there’s so many so it makes so many tomatoes. But I’m going to be giving you guys a couple of regular updates on what’s going on here and in the greenhouse. I mean, I got my pepper plants are still really small, but they’re starting to come up really quick this year. So, we’ll we’ll be doing some more of that down the road. I’m just kind of shooting a quick stream because some people were asking me about um they want me to like let them know by email when my when I’m back and stuff. I’m like, dude, I’m not I can’t possibly like email you, hey, your variety is ready. Do you want to come and buy? I I I would love to do that, but there’s just too many people and it’s not how am I going to remember that, honestly. So, what I tell people to do is to um you know, go into, you know, the page and it’ll say back in stock request because it’s out of stock. Just select that and then if you don’t have an account, open an account and then it’ll go into your account and you can you can create a list of all the back and stock requests that you you create and a wish list for the varieties you want. And uh eventually that gets to me and then we end up buying those varieties and you know making them available. We grow them out and make them available. So, that’s the best thing for you to do if you’re requesting anything back in stock. Uh, let me see here. Johnny Price, interesting. Thanks for the info. Yeah, look into I’ll look into the gold nugget thing for you if it’s an indeterminate variety. I mean, I’m growing an ogodly amount of, you know, um, cherry tomatoes and current tomatoes. Now, it’s like it’s just ridiculous. They’re all there’s like so many of them. Uh, but we’ll we’ll look into it. If it’s a compact variety, I’m very interested. I like the compact varieties cuz they don’t take up a lot of room and they produce an ungodly amount of tomatoes for such a little plant. You know what I mean? Those determinate varieties, they got to get like really big and stringy and grow for miles. Yeah. And then they put out their flower and they start fruing and everything, but sometimes they produce more tomatoes than I actually need because I grow so many varieties. So, we’ll look into it. I’ll definitely check it out. And uh we’re always open to suggestions, especially when it comes to uh like I say, the dwarf and micro dwarf varieties. Oh, we love those. Absolutely love them. And I’m going to be honest with you. Uh maybe in the near future that might be more of the way I’m going to be going more of because they take up such little space and yet they’re so effective in producing fruit. It’s ridiculous. So, appreciate the um the comment by the way. And if you’re not following me on Facebook, you should. There’s a lot of groups that I’m in that I belong with and uh they’re great groups and you meet a lot of great people and you come across a lot of great varieties on there with a lot of the people on there. So, if you’re not part of Facebook, you should think about it. I’m on there and uh you could go into my friends list and just like look around who’s in there. Some great people in there. Uh I know people from all over the world now, so I I connect with a lot of people. I get a lot of great varieties from other countries and you just can’t get that anywhere. And so we try to get those if we can and then we make them available in the US and um but that’s uh that’s becoming more and more of a challenge uh these days because uh just you know the U our US base is is shrinking as opposed to our international base. We sell more seed now internationally than we do US. So it’s that the US isn’t necessarily shrinking. It’s just our international base is growing and it’s starting to outperform our US base. So, we may end up just be shipping to internationals, you know, other countries rather than even bother with the US. And some of the reason for that is there’s some issues with the post office. We’ve been having some problems with the post office lately. And not just us, but like our customers and stuff. And it’s like I I don’t know how to deal with it. The post office is is really they’re really starting to have some problems or something. I don’t know. Uh they’re starting to show some cracks in the in the seams and uh the post office is really really causing a lot of problems. I’ve I’ve gotten some problems right now. Not major or nothing, you know, but I’m having problems with the post office and they’re just literally committing crimes and it’s like I try to reach out to the internal affairs and everything. Can’t get can’t seem to get through. Nobody really cares anymore. It’s like they could just rob, rape, and rob and pillage my customers. I don’t I fight for my customers all the time, you know, and it’s like I I’m tired of dealing with it. I’m just going to be honest with you. I’m seriously tired of dealing with it. And not not dealing with the customers. It’s not their fault. It But the post office is like I mean they’re really messing up bad, guys. Uh lately, I don’t know what’s going on. Maybe they’re all like glitching out or something. I don’t know. Don’t know. But we’ve been having problems with the postal service and um not liking it. And I The problem is I don’t really have a choice. And it’s always domestic things. It’s like it seems like a lot of the complaints that I’m getting is that the post office delivers stuff to people or they go to deliver stuff to people’s houses and they’re either not getting the package or they’re they’re leaving nasty notes in their mailbox. You need to come up with more postage. I’m thinking we just paid $6 for postage. You want them to pay more? I I don’t What’s going on? I I mean, you should see some of the some of the complaints. They’re not complaining at me. They’re complaining at, you know, the whole post office thing. And I have no choice, you know. I have to deal they’re the only option I have to get, you know, packages out. I can’t if I was to just deal with the UPS, uh, that we couldn’t do that. We just couldn’t do it because they’re they’re like an hour away drive just to drop a package off. We couldn’t I can’t use them on a regular basis. And, um, you know, and you’re talking we’re doing probably maybe 100 orders a week, something like that on average. This year is a little this time of the year is a little slower, but I mean I can’t possibly, you know, drive an hour hour a day to do a 100red orders a not it’s ridicul. It’s absolutely ridiculous, you know. So, I’m sorry about that for anybody who’s having problems with the post office. It’s not us, guys. We put it in packages, we mail it out, we do the best we can, and I I I feel some of the people’s pains out there, but it’s not us. Once it’s out of our hands, it’s in the post office, you know, and it’s not like there’s a lot of them, but it’s increasing. I’ve never seen it quite like this. It just seems like this year it’s gone up a little bit. I’m not sure why I’m having these kind of issues with the post office, but I don’t know. I guess maybe the people don’t like their job or whatever. I don’t know. So, anyways, if there are any questions, if anybody’s got any, just leave them down below. If not, we’re probably going to end the stream and um we’re just going to uh we’ll shoot a we’ll shoot another video or a stream in the future once these plants get a little bigger and they start getting fruit on them and then from there I think we’ll you know we’ll move forward. So anyway guys, I think that’s it. Wait and see if there’s any comments. There’s no comments. I know it’s a bad time to shoot a live stream, but you got to understand that it’s when the evening time comes, I’m absolutely exhausted. I mean, you’re talking about mixing sometimes two of those piles a day. I can’t do it all. I can’t do all that and shoot live streams at night. I’m I want to, but Oh my god, it’s a killer. All right, guys. All right, I’ll end it here. Uh, any any last comments? Make them now. Make them now. I’ll answer your comments here. That goes for my any customers that are coming on my site. This is a good opportunity for you to ask me questions in the public if you want. All right. So, there’s nobody there. All right, guys. All right. Thanks for watching and I will see you on the next one and we’ll shoot another live stream soon coming to you. Peace out.
