  1. ❤❤❤ i can’t wait to harvest cucumbers 🪴🤞 I can have some is getting very hot here, hello dear Mac 🐾 🐾🐾♥️

  2. Hello Calikim.Your videos inspired me to plant more.I considered your videos the best among other videos I've watched.you are very well versed regarding plants info.

  3. Hi Kim. This is my 5th year gardening seriously. The first 2 years I let my cukes sprawl on the ground. I have plenty of space. They actually did great! Then the next 2 years I trellised them. They again did great, but not really any noticeable difference. So…this year I haven't put up a trellis. I know I may lose a few to rabbits and such, but I have enough room that I can plant a thousand plants if I so desire, so I'm not gonna bother with a trellis

  4. Parthenocarpic cucumbers for the win!
I had great success with Beit Alpha last summer whereas for a decade trying conventional varieties yielded me not a single edible cucumber.
This winter, and still producing, I planted a Quick Snack cucumber plant under a grow light and have been picking little cucumbers. There's probably 2 or 3 that I need to pick today or tomorrow.
Quick Snack is parthenocarpic and they get about 3 inches long.

  5. I try to limit plastic in my garden instead of the plastic ties or clips I use jute or hemp twine. Much better because by the end of the season it can be composted.

  6. My baby plants are in the soil outside in a northeastern multi-day storm at around 40-45F right now…😓

  7. And here I always thought cucumbers did best in cooler temperatures. And I never knew there was different categories for them either.
