  1. I think we have the same philosophy on gardening… it has to be beautiful with beautiful details, colors, etc. Yep! I've always felt the same way.🄰

  2. Love the dahlias and calla lilies!! I tried to grow both here but they didnt like it here. Need a longer growing season thanI have. My mom had Beautiful dahlias!!

  3. Its lilac season here and early irises! Thays what I have been bringing in along with my bleeding hearts! Make pretty arrangements and make the house smell lovely!!

  4. Those flowers are stunning! I love the touch of white in the crock arrangement. I think every arrangement can use a touch of white.

  7. Omgoodness, Jess…those Callas are stunning.
Flowers in my garden, indoors and yo share arrangements are my biggest treat to myself.
Loads of Thai basil (and other things) going for tea this summer.

  8. šŸ«¶šŸ»Hello Mater Jess! That’s me! I don’t have a glorious vast piece of land. My food garden is worked into my landscape. I also have a pollinator garden that my family likes to stroll through. I take cuttings here and there to enjoy inside.

  9. āš ļø Calla lilies are toxic to cats!!! āš ļø
You might already know, but it's a really severe one, use caution.
Delightful video and GORGEOUS flowers! 🌸🪻🌸

  10. Thank you so much for the Flower arrangement 101. We have been growing gardens and flowers for 12 years now and I have been making flower arrangements as well this long but never heard what you just taught me. Aka. Thriller, filler, Spiller and odd numbers. What a blessing you are. Thank you as well for your inspiration we all need it as much as we need to give it.
Lord Bless you and your beautiful family and your beautiful gardens.ā¤ā¤ā¤ā¤

  11. Love all your videos and how you always have a smile. I couldn't help but laugh at you running from the sprinkles. Have definitely been inspired by your teas and cant wait to try and make them myself. Thanks for the videos and content. I thoroughly enjoy it and look forward to it daily.

  12. I literally just commented on your last video about doing a video on flowers in the garden and this shows up ā¤

  13. I started with tomatoes, peppers and squash. It was so wonderful to bring home the harvest and to see my kids and husband happily devour every bite. Gardening brought me joy and made me feel connected to nature. I’ll say this, though, it wasn’t until I started planting flowers that I really felt like, I could do this my entire life and be happy! My roses, my hydrangea, my peony, my gorgeous daisies and echinacea, my zinnia, etc. They make my heart overflow with joy and peace. I feel fulfilled in my garden.ā¤

  14. Every year I add more flowers tot he landscape. Right now my tulips are at their peak loveliness. I planted random colours together a few years ago and now there is these beautiful groupings of red, orange, peach, and white spread around my fruit trees. It is wooing me to look closer every day!

  15. I love that you film everyday. I'm not able to watch some of them – what I like is there's always one to watch. Thanks!

  16. The Cala lily makes the bouquet spectacular! I've never grown them , but you have sold me on them. I so enjoyed this time with you!ā¤ļøThank you for sharing.😁

  17. Random question, but how do you manage bug bites? Im getting eaten up by mosquitoes it's hot as heck here, so I don't want to have to wear jeans out to garden, but not sure what else to try, I have ceder paths, lavender planted, and I've tried citronella candels too and we get an organic spray monthly to try and kill some

  18. I just made rhubarb tea! ( I live in Minnesota- the high on Sunday was 48 degrees… a low of 42)! Delicious- tart but crisp…. many recipes on line

  19. Iced tea for me every day on hot days, yes!! I don't do sweet tea, but it does need a bit of sugar so it's not bitter!

  20. I love what you do- I love the random cut flowers that speak so perfectly of your connection with your garden and I love the tea – just make it so simple and perfect- you are uniquely YOU! Beautifulā¤ļø

  21. Jess! – former floral lady here. So jealous of what you can go pull fresh from the garden.

Have you ever used a floral frog? There is a European and Japanese version – the Japanese is much better (in my opinion) – basically it’s a hockey puck like thing with spikes all over the top like a porcupine and you set it in bottom of any container you want and then the stems are stabbed into it. You don’t need such a thing for the big beautiful styles you did here but I love them for making containers that are not usually a vase a vase and being able to display a very few stems. You can have a daisy your kid handed you stand straight up by itself in the middle of a bowl (for example).

It takes away the flop and lean of a smaller handful of joy in a wide neck jar.

Look it up – you can get one for a few bucks and use it forever.

  22. Raspberry leaves are a fantastic foliage for cut flower arrangements…long lasting and just perfect.

  23. Nigella that’s gone to seed is one of my favorite things to add to an arrangement for something different and interesting. The seedpods are pretty when still green, along with the wispy foliage.

  24. You can break or cut the top few inches off the gladiola if you don’t want it to be quite so tall while still getting the full value of all those gorgeous blooms at the bottom.

  25. Just a heads up on those stunningly beautiful Calla lilies…Any sort of lilies are toxic/poisonous to cats (except Alstroemeria, also known as Persian Lily).
