A car mounted a garden fence during a ‘dramatic’ crash in Swindon today (Thursday).

Police were called to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in Marlowe Avenue at around 11.15am.

Wiltshire Police say a Hyundai IONIQ and a Ford Focus was involved, with the Hyundai mounting a metal fence around the front garden of a property.

According to a local resident, the Ford sustained minor damage – having been scraped by the Hyundai.

The incident happened on the junction for Spenser Close.

Despite what one witness described as a “dramatic” crash, nobody was hurt.

Officers attended the scene and arranged recovery. No arrests were made.
