Monty Don has revealed his return to work date amid health woes as he landed a brand new BBC series away from Gardeners’ World.
The TV star 69, was forced to cancel six gigs during his An Audience With Monty Don tour after he had to stay in hospital for several days.
But now he has landed another new show as he will star in Monty Don’s British Gardens.
He updated his beloved garden fans with a social media post created by Wildside Gardens.
Monty shared their post which read: ‘Hello, what’s going on here then? Monty and Keith chatting all things gardening.
‘Finally, we can share the wonderful news that Keith and Wildside will be featured on Monty Don’s British Gardens series which starts in January.

‘All episodes will be available on iPlayer from the 10th January.

Fans were fast to react to the news with one stating: ‘Looks amazing can’t wait!’; ‘Looking forward to this ❤️’; ‘Looks like Alnwick. Hope the series comes to Australia soon.’
His update comes after he revealed that his health took a sudden turn just over a week ago.
The TV personality continued: ‘I was rushed to A&E. I was kept in at the hospital over Saturday, Sunday, and Monday and had to have drips and all the rest of it.’
But the star reassured fans that his condition had improved and he was back home resting.

He said: ‘I came home last night, and I’m feeling much better. I’m going to spend the next few days quietly recuperating here at home and hopefully by the weekend I’ll be back to full fitness.’
During the show, Monty shares his passion for gardens and the unique role they play in human inspiration and wellbeing.
Monty has been making TV programmes for over 30 years and has been lead presenter of the BBC’s Gardeners’ World since 2003.
After his sellout tour in 2022, Monty headed back out on the road around the UK in November where he has shared his career in gardening, detail his favourite gardens – both ancient and modern, and reveal how he fell in love with the natural world.
