  1. Loving you posting every day. Glad it is a bird. Your garden is really growing. We are at 96 right now. Glad I did my watering early so I can be in the house now. Gotta vacuum the pool. I have 2 baby watermelon growing. All my things are finally growing. Just wish they were as beautiful as yours is. Hearts and Flowers coming your way. ❤️💐

  2. I plant peas early on one side of the cattle panels and put tomatoes on the other side. By the time the peas are done, the tomatoes are taking off.

  3. Maybe a good spot for the tree would be down the driveway by the entrance? Then they would frame the entrance to your farm and you’d get to see their story every time you entered and left.

  4. My cucumbers do it every day and it can't wait to eat them in many dishes 😋 again enjoy your videos and I do listen. Love from Virginia ❤

  5. The cottage garden is so pretty at this time of the year! You’d have to drag me out kicking and screaming to get me to get anything done! 😍🌺🌸🌻

  6. Jess, I needed this reminder as I'm recuperating from a bad cold and had been just working, working, working to exhaustion (that I'm convinced led to this bad cold as exhaustion in my body many times leads to weaker immune response). So, tomorrow morning with hot tea in hand I will casually stroll thru the garden and appreciate the beauty, eventhough some things will have to wait for me to feel a bit better to tackle.
I'm also thinking on ways to cut back and simplify my gardens to be more manageable. This year, less will have to be enough. Thank you for your wisdom dear Jess.

  7. Love your posts. I have watched every one of your videos for about 6 years. So informative and entertaining. Question; What kind of oak tree is the small one? The foliage is so different than the other one.

  8. My grandfather just passed away, and I was able to cut a branch from one of the wild elderberries at their house, and turn it into about twenty cuttings which are now leafing out. They didn’t know about the medicinal value, but they always processed them into jam because you just don’t pass up free food. ❤

  9. Being in Texas I must get outside in the mornings if I need to work in it. When it’s cool, I do take a cup of coffee, but lately it’s been in the med 90’s, I definitely take my ice water. I remember your old farm in Arkansas and your chair you had. I also like early evening. Very peaceful.❤️✝️🙏

  10. Garden is lovely. I don't have chairs in the gardens but I have a veranda that I can sit and look over them all. But in addition, I like to go for a slow walk through the gardens in the evening to just simply admire the beauty and the wonder of nature. Good video!

  11. We're supposed to get frost tonight, but hopefully it's the last time. The average last frost date is supposed to be May 20.

  12. Hi Jess! I am an avid viewer and a big fan of what you do. I am in North Texas, the same zone as you. 7B/8A. I always start my seeds when you do and plant out when you do and I ammend my soil with cow patties from my grass fed dairy animals, but your stuff always grows so much faster than mine and produces so much more. Can you please help me? It gets good enough sunlight from what I can tell.

  13. I love watching your garden because we haven’t been able to plant yet! Snow possible tonight in Maine. Thank you for giving me hope.

  14. I remember that video when you said goodbye to the beautiful oak tree! ♥️♥️♥️ Jess, I live in Connecticut, we been getting lots of rain, at what point should an add more fertilizer?

  15. I remember that video of the you visiting your grandparents house and picking up them acorns to grow those oak trees. I remember that very well yes make sure you plan them in a very area that’s got a lot of space because they do get massive, but they are great for shade.🌳🌱💚

  16. I I think watching your videos have taught me a lot about peace in the garden and just making it something that I don’t know it’s just I understand what you’re saying. I enjoy my garden. I walk it every day whether it’s just to check it out to see what pet are coming or to see the beauty on a sunflower or to pick my biggest onion ever I mean it’s amazing. I don’t get a big harvest. I have a small small backyard garden, but it still brings me joy and I guess that’s OK.💚🌱

  17. I'm so jealous of your garden. I'm in Central Minnesota and we have had cold temps for the last week. Lows of 34-38 all week. We have received 3" of rain in 48 hours. I haven't even gotten in my garden yet. I love seeing all the plants and am really enjoying the daily content.

  18. I'm in zone 6b, about 4-6 weeks behind you. These daily videos have been such a blessing as I take breaks from all of the work that is going on in my garden right now. Thanks for sharing your beautiful journey!

  19. Just be aware that maple trees take a lot of room. We have four large maples in the front yard. And more in our back yard. We do live on an acre property up in the PNW, Woodinville, WA.

  20. Hi Jess🌸
I'm wondering do you have bees 🐝 a hive for honey? My memory isn't as good as it used to be. I can't remember if you do ? If not have you given any thought about getting 🐝 bees for 🍯 honey?
I hope you're doing well and I hope you have a wonderful week.
