Do u fertilize the potatoes bc I had it in soil for 4 months & they came out teeny tiny. I fertilized maybe for 2-3 weeks before I harvested so I’m assuming that’s why they came out small
I never thought about taking off sprouts from a seed potato ever. I just basily dug a hole every year in the bed and dropped the potato in and covered it up and gived it a good drink. And forgot about it for a week or so util i saw leaves come up😅😂 and i have a lot every year. Basicly if we harvest all of them at once we would have enough for whole winter. And i got a few random once coming up at the spot where we grew them last year😅 i guess we forgot a few by accident and they survived the winter in ground.

First:) How do you know when they are ready, and can you use just cocopeat, or is a mulch and other stuff required too?
