Wonderful!
I absolutely love your enthusiasm.
We have had soooo much rain. My cucumber plants died except for two. 😢
So inspiring, James. Because of you, I
have 4 raised beds in my yard this year, planted with square foot gardening. And the book? If I were going to choose one gardening book for a beginner, that would be it. So.much.gold. Thanks for everything!
I just recently planted asparagus. Do I need to worry about rabbits and squirrels? If so what should I do
My town needs a grocery store SO BAD… im about to just grow everything and open a grocery store
Mel’s book was the first gardening book I ever bought 15 years ago🌿🌿🌿🌿💕💕💕
🌄 A chilly morning, almost Winter. Your vegetable garden is so inspirational James!
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us all.
Blessings to you and to your Guardian of the Garden. 🐕🌱🌷🍓🥬🥒🥕🫐🌞🌈🥲
❤️❤️❤️
Honestly these plants look picturesque 😮🙌
I miss King Tuck alot. i would love to see him more often. Sadly, my garden looks awful this year. We had 2 freezes after the peaches blossomed, so none of those. The tomatoes look just gross. The cukes will not grow either. I am so disappointed
WOW!!!!! Looks amazing! Yoooo! The garlic between the tomato is smart! KISS
🐕❤
We miss you, Tuck!
James bringing the energy big time. The intro is a must watch!
RIP Tuck ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
im so sorry for tuck!
The square foot method has improved my gardening. I purchased the Square foot seeding tray, which tells you how many plants to plant in a square foot. I dont start a bed without it🌻
I'm curious about how you water these beds. Don't different plants have different watering needs?
I wish I could do 20% as well as this guy lmao
Wow u got an early start
U sjouldnt mix two types in the same row as per torah
Do you think this 50° weather we’ve been having is going to negatively impact our gardens here in Jersey ?
Your you tubes are lovely, thank you. Can you eat it all though? It looks wonderul just growing and maybe eating isn't the whole reason for growing food. Vegetable shapes and colours are rewards in themselves too.
Would love to see you do a challenge with your watchers . Put out a plan of action certain size bed and everything to go in it with enough time for us to purchase them. Then we can plant with you in a video and duplicate one of your beds. It would be an abundance of learning for those of us that learn hands on!!! Love love love your channel!
❤❤❤ for Tuck.
It looks like overcrowding to me, and what you are doing is risky!
Regarding myself I tried to grow 3 radish plants in one pot, and one of my radishes became wilted, and possibly stunted because it looked liked it eventually stopped growing. I learned a valuable lesson this year 2025, and that is to not overcrowd plants. I thought my pot could handle growing 3 radish plants, but it turned out that it could only handle 2 plants.
What happens is that if there are too many plants growing together is they will fight for resources, and I assume you already know in a war there is a winner, and a loser, or maybe there could be a stalemate.
James, how do you water? The watering grids should sponsor you!!!
We've had quiet a bit of rain here in NC, I have small mushrooms growing right next to tomatoes. Should I allow them to go freely? If we get more rain I'm thinking about putting a tarp over them because I'm starting to worry they're going to float away (raised beds btw) 😂
Also I need to know, I have 4'x2'x1.5' raised beds with three tomatoes to make sure i gave them enough space, could i have planted more in that space?
James, your enthusiasm transcends. Every time I watch I seem to be able get out in my garden in zone 9. I used the 1 ft method this year and it exceeded my expectations. Keep on keepin’ on brother
No inglés lo siento
Love your yard! Thanks for all the educational info and still sharing Tuck. ❤He always makes me smile.
James I love your polyculture method. Thank you for sharing but do you still need to rotate your crops in the following years?
How do you keep the birds off your fruit trees?
What are the 7 layers?
Boy I would love to see what he has planted where on paper, it is hard to watch him go from place to place and get a sense of what it would look like from above LOL. Thanks James love square foot gardening. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
We miss him too James ❤️
I loved Tuck! 😥❤️.. It’s just not the same. Maybe if James gets a puppy I’d feel better..😉
❤❤❤❤❤❤
James, I just love how enthusiastic you are sharing your tips and tricks! I always walk away super inspired and enthusiastic after watching your videos. Thank YOU!
Hi James. Thanks for sharing. I am wondering why my asparagus just shooting up from the soil and I am in Brooklyn, NY. So basically same zone. I don't get it.. I feel like all my plants that are coming out of the soil is slow. Same for raspberry and blackberry.
What steps did you take when we have this Nor Easter storm coming? I’m in CT and we just put a tarp on the garden! We miss Tuck too ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Excellent ❤ I used Square Foot Gardening back in the 1990s – it was a game changer. Thanks for the wonderful reminder!
Green beans need 12" to 15" spacing for EACH plant. That's far too close to each other for bush beans: perhaps multiple pole beans can be accommodated in a square foot but then you'l need overhead support as well.
I've been gardening for 5 years. Although I had window boxes for years. I had my husband make me a raised garden beds and am increasing it every year. You have inspired me so much to increase my supply. I'm trying melons and strawberries thanks to you. I have a little greenhouse tent also. Any ideas you may have for greenhouse is appreciated.
I follow you for my cucumbers the vine grew nice but the are all yellowish and brown help me
lol, he's out there in shorts, and in milwaukee, we are still in mid march weather on may 21. mid 40s and rain. Everything is afraid yet. But day after day of rain…sigh.
I know you miss your little buddy, I miss watching him as well eating up all the good veggies…… another informative video thank you
