It's been a labour of love … fences repaired, ground broken and enriched, tons of gravel shifted and painstakingly washed by hand and a lot of planting, but it's all been SO worth it 🥰
From a barren wasteland to lush greenery awash with insects, birds and other wildlife in just 15 months.

Love this!
Inspirational!
There’s a bit too much gravel for my liking. Why the multiple sitting areas?
Beautiful. My geum’s have really struggled this spring. Your look stunning. Did you plant them this year or last?
Stunning! You should be very proud of all your hard work. However, you failed to tell us the cat’s name…
That looks awesome. What made you go with the gravel (sorry I’m not sure what else it looks like if it isn’t) than grass? I have a similar back garden and am interested to change mine to something like yours. It terrifies me however.
That’s awesome
Stunning! All your hard work has paid off!
STUNNING!! Great work 🙌
This is giving me hope as I’ve just started my garden and the new plants look a bit sad
What’s that plant in the last picture? It’s very pretty
Wow, you’ve grown a cat 🙂
wow that’s amazing. Well done.
This is really beautiful! A lovely cottage garden vibe. Your cat is lovely too ☺️
How beautiful and colourful! Well done!
How do you plant plants so close together and water them / not get powdery mildew? Powdery mildew is ruining my garden 🙁
Wow it looks incredible. I love the geum, they have become a favourite of mine this year! Great work
What a difference YOU made in a year
Pale orange with purple (your geum and erysimum) is such a magical combination – I’m not usually a fan of orange outside of it
Btw if you want to build on that scheme, silvery foliage plants nearby work to mediate and elevate. You may already but if not, plop another purple perennials in the right-hand bed too so you’ve got a nice bounce going.
Good work 👌👌👌
