    Great video. As a Delawarean that frequents Philly on a regular basis Iā€™ve never heard of that pound cake company. Iā€™m a purest though, I like my pound cake without icing. Happy Motherā€™s Day in advance. The Parish Family Life Committee at my church does a Motherā€™s Day Brunch with mini quiches, fresh fruit, and a few other items. We also do something similar for Fatherā€™s Day with a slightly different menu. Have a good week.

    Oh my, more chickens. Iā€™m sure the bakery pound cakes are delicious; however, I grew up with my Mother making pound cakes. It was my Daddyā€™s favorite. I make her recipe, plus a cream cheese one and a sour cream one. My husbandā€™s favorite is the sour cream. Have a wonderful week.

    We built a new deck last summer and I wanted stamped concrete so bad!!! But the foundation of our old deck was still like new so my husband wanted to do composite so we went back and forth but then our sonā€™s company started making decking and he could get 35% off so guess who one out on that onešŸ˜Š. But it looks nice and Iā€™m waiting for my new dinette set to come in and I got a little bistro set because we have two areas of our deck. Also would like a small couch for under our upper deck. Actually really wanted a hot tub right there but guess who one that one too lol. My birthday is tomorrow and our boys got me a gas fire table!!! We built our house and donā€™t do our deck until after we had lived here 20 years! Same with us – not in the budget with saving for college. We built the first wood deck in 2008 when our youngest graduated!! You will love your patio!! My brother has stamped and it is gorgeous!!! So happy for you!! You guys deserve it for sure with what all you have been through!

    Thanks for taking us along on your weekend. My youngest Grandson leaves June 10 for basic training at Lackland Air Force Base. Zack has been in the Army for a year and a half. Both have six years commitments. Just getting a little use to one being gone and soon the other one will be gone. Very sad but so very proud of them both. Always good to see Doug.

    I get the expense of parochial school , all five of our kids went to Lutheran School from pre-school through high school graduation. Its taken us years to catch up and work on our house and weā€™ve lived in it 41 years šŸ˜‚

    I thought this was a good video. I like seeing the baby chick's. I menu plan weekly and since it's just me and my husband I'll choose 2-3 different meals because we'll have leftovers. The day of I can see what we're in the mood for because we have all of the ingredients.
