Wait, don’t cut that back. Hey y’all. So, if you’re like me, you’re going to be so tempted to cut back this daffodil foliage, but not just yet. The bulbs down below gather all of their energy for next year through these beautiful leaves and stems. What you can do is you can cut back these and dead head them. So just simply snip this off. Throw that away. But you want to wait until the plant totally yellows back down to the ground before you cut it. So your stems will start looking like this and they’ll get yellow and they’ll die all the way back down to the ground. Then you know it’s safe to cut back your foliage for your daffodils. All right, guys. So let’s learn a little patience and wait until we cut back this daffodil foliage. We can go ahead and dead head them. We want to wait till they completely die back to the ground. So, we’ll have beautiful blossoms for next year. Don’t forget to like and subscribe for more gardening tips and inspiration.
