That’s weird! It’s definitely done by human intervention. Pattern is too regular. What did YOU do recently?

  2. That’s where your dog pees. Fertilize your lawn

  3. 1sh0t1b33r

This is the craziest shit I’ve seen. Dog peeing in those spots and lawn needs whatever it is. Start collecting urine into a pump sprayer.

  4. Typical80sKid

What breed and diet??? WE NEED TO KNOW!!!

  5. My brain really wants to think this is a manipulated image. Can you show more pics?

  6. lucius_yakko

Deep root fertilization for the tree. Unless that’s your yard and you know for sure that wasn’t done. Looks too extreme for dog pee.

  7. SoupOrSandwich

This is absolutely incredible, do not change anything

  8. RepresentativeTask98

Dog pees in same spot every time. Dog eventually notices grass is getting long, doesn’t like it sprinkles tinkles. Dog walks forward 5 feet. Repeats. Dog hits fence. Dog turns right 5 feet instead. Repeats.

  9. This is probably the wildest image to ever grace this subreddit

  10. Lost-Leftovers

Fertilizer spreader was probably malfunctioning. They were likely engaging the spreading mechanism and just dumping fertilizer on those spots rather than it shooting out like it should.

OR your dog is trying to communicate with aliens. Who knows?

  11. SpicyPeanutSauce

I’m going against the grain here I don’t think it’s the dog. I’ve never seen a dog pick their piss spots in this much of a pattern and the growth is so even for the spots themselves. If it was the dog I’d expect much different growth from some areas versus it looks like all these spots were fertilized around the same time.

  12. Is that where your sprinkler heads are located?

  13. willzyx01

Has to be gnomes. I’ve seen it in Transylvania once before

  14. IBoomerFightMe

Photo is faked but trying to look like dog piss spots

  15. carbon-bricks

SOLVED it was a deep root fertilization for the large oak tree.

    No OCD dogs here.

  16. WaffleAndy

It’s because you just started a new season in stardew valley.

  17. TotallyNotDad

Something is taking healthy shits in your lawn

  18. Real-Psychology-4261

Very healthy dog shit, perfectly scattered in a random pattern across the entire lawn.

  19. I need to get on making that tiny little manure spreader that uses this uh fertilizer.

  20. MisterEmanOG

In theory, can you take that deep root fertilizer and dilute it and spray it on the grass so it all looks like that??

  21. DarthCalumnious

Bizarro grubs fortifying the roots! Check for dimensional disturbances in your basement or attic.

  22. AnalConnoisseur777

See how beautiful that grass is where the fertilizer was placed? Your lawn is crying for fertilizer.

  23. Rocketeering

This would look amazing like this with some daffodils +/- other bulbs coming up spread around the yard.

  24. GreenLantern500

Glad it was solved – also just have to comment about how crazy this looks. Super fascinating

  25. IndirectSarcasm

must be one of the brotherhood’s revitalized farm fields from Fallout…

  26. DangerNyoom

    Unrelated, but that root flare?
    *chef’s kiss*

  27. Unrelated to the grass question. What playset is that back in the corner or is that for your dog😅? Been looking for one about that size o

  28. CountRock

What is deep root fertilization? Why is it needed? We have 3 live Oaks!

  29. Iamyodaddy

This is a nice little tease for how good your yard could look with this amount of nutrients everywhere.

  30. AngryMikey

May want to fertilize the yard . A little extra liquid fertilizer would be what I’d do. Spoon feed it over a few weeks.

  31. D_Costa85

I’m in Illinois and mine looks just like this, only the clumps aren’t as perfectly spaced lol

  32. Cranester1983

Pee pee from an extremely talented and symmetrical doggo.
