Breathe new life into your backyard garden with this summer container refresh! In this video, I’m sharing how I updated my whiskey barrel planters using a mix of heat-tolerant flowers, herbs, and edible plants—perfect for the summer season. Grab a cup of coffee and come along as I gather my tools and plant a vibrant, cottage-inspired arrangement featuring Angelonia, dwarf zinnias, Swiss chard, oregano, thyme, vincas, and a beautiful rain lily in the center.
Plus, I’m testing out a handcrafted hummingbird feeder by Grete Gotye, and I’ve set up my GoPro to (hopefully!) catch some hummingbird footage in real time. It’s a relaxing, productive day in the garden you won’t want to miss.
