Hi all, plant novice here!
I got this plant at a Moving out of Town sale…it has just emerged from dormancy. As you can see it’s doing pretty well, this vine has gone crazy the last week or two.
To encourage growth of the trunk and caudex, should I keep the greenery trimmed? Or just let it grow cause more leaves = more energy coming in.

let it grow. i’ve gotten the quickest growth out of my adenias when they are in well drained soil and with frequent watering. I only trim back them at the beginning of winter after they have dropped all leaves and go dormant.
