I am definitely trying lupins next year

  2. I see this exact variety on my walk to work. In full bloom. What type is this and what time of the year is best to plant it? Also could I this or should I wait for seeds to take? Very beginner gardener. Thank you.

    Wow! Ours has maybe 5/6.

Conditions seem to be perfect this year for just about everything in the garden

I always get one very good year out of Lupins and then after that the aphids and slugs just declare war on it. I’ve found I have slightly better luck with the smaller annual lupins though so I’ve gone for those the last few years and it seems to work out well.

I’ve never seen so many aphids on mine! Hope mine manage to bloom as beautifully as yours has!

Hmm on mine I’ve just got a lot of leaves.
