Before I show you the actual video of me hooking up the hose, I just wanted to explain a few things so that it actually makes sense. So, I have this kind of faucet. It’s like this. Um, if your faucet already has the threads where you can automatically thread the hose up to it, then a lot of these steps you don’t need. I will say the quick connect hose connect I think is a good idea anyway. It’ll probably make your life a lot easier. If you’re not familiar, basically you just pull up on this and then this gets removed. This is my airator. See the little filter thing? That is what conserves water within your faucet. Without of it, it like pours out gobs of water. with it. It kind of holds back a little bit of water. Not much of a difference, but enough over time. It would be a significant amount of water waste. So, I think you have to pick your battle. Does this look aesthetically pleasing? I kind of don’t mind it. Um, it’s super easy to disconnect that to connect. This is the gardener supply hose. I already have the quick connect added to it. And then to add my garden hose, turn it on and it’s ready to go. So I think you have to pick your battle of aesthetic over usefulness. And for me, I’d rather have a useful garden hose on my faucet than not doesn’t bother me at all. If it doesn’t bother you, then this video is for you. If your faucet, like I said, you can hook your hose all the way up to it, then this video is probably not for you. If you have a faucet where you don’t have the threads to hook anything up to, this is the video for you. You’ll see in the first scene there is an air raator tool. I circled the part of the tool that is the size of mine. If yours is that same size, then all the pieces of the curation that I provided will work for you. I hope that this video helps you. I think if you have more than 10 to 20 plants, having an indoor water hose is going to be a game changer. Here’s the video to hooking it up. I want to show you how to hook up this gardener supply hose to your faucet. The most important part to know is what size airator you need. All these things that I speak about in here will apply to your faucet. If you have the same size airator I do, you will need this tool to remove it. I circle the smallest part of that airator remover. So if you get the same airator and your airator comes out with that tool, all these parts in here will be applicable to you. You might have a different faucet entirely where your airator isn’t up into the faucet. Then you probably don’t need this exact setup. So keep that in mind as well. I ordered this pack and that one I zoomed in on is the one I actually used. You can see it here. And then this next part is what came with the gardener supply hose. This is the adapter from my airator to go to a hose. This is plumbers’s tape. This is what you put around anything that has threads. It kind of seals it all together. So you’ll see this is the piece that the gardener supply piece goes into. putting the plumbers’s tape on. That just makes the seal. Am I doing it right? I don’t know. This is the part that came with the gardener supply hose. You’ll see that I use a paper towel to screw it on. I guess you could use a wrench or gloves, but I didn’t have either. Do use something because the metal threads scraped up my fingers bleeding. More plumbers tape on there. This next part is optional. I’m going to use quick connect for hoses. So, one quick connect is going to go on my hose. The other one is going to go on my airator so I can switch them out. That original little airator thing that put in there didn’t have the actual filtered airator. So, I do think it’s important to save water. So, that’s why I’m doing it that way. Hooking the hose up. And then you will see when I turn it on, it is a successful hookup. Whenever you go to turn it off, make sure you run the rest of the water out of it. See, it’s turning off. Run the water out, then unhook it. Your future self will thank me. This is where I was talking about it’s kind of optional. I do think airators are important to reduce water flow, conserve water, and minimize splashing. You can see the quick connect and that piece I just showed you aren’t going to go together. So, we need an additional adapter. And that is what this is. And I’ll pause it here so you can kind of take note. Putting the plumbers’s tape around that again. And that just kind of seals, making sure there’s no leaks. Putting that together. And then I’m going to add the other part of the quick connect into that. Even on your outdoor hoses, this plumbers’s tape is very necessary to prevent leaking. Just keep that in mind because sometimes I thought that it was the hose leaking, but really it’s just the threads and the seal is not there. So, game changer on the plumbers’s tape. Does it look silly? Yes. But you know what? I’d rather have the hose hookup than not. If you are interested in this gardener supply hose, you can go to my link tree depending on what platform you see this on. Um link tree is in my bio. You can see the hose from the gardener supply. And then I have all the additional parts to hook it up to your faucet also in the link tree. So, you’ll go to the Amazon storefront. You’ll see it right at the top and you’ll get to it like that. I truly appreciate everybody’s love and support. I’m just a gal trying to make your planty life more efficient. Talk to you soon.

Hi..Very nice, your videos are impressive. I like it a lot. I will call you the princess of plants.
very beautiful..
You’re lucky that you can use water straight from your facet. I have to boil my water before using it on my plants. Or I use water from our fish tank.
