Yes, guys. So, I am so excited that we are getting this started finally. So, we’re going to continue planting the seeds and I’m going to be thoroughly taught on how to take care of this and make sure that I can keep up with it. So, yeah, I’m really excited about this journey. You better make sure you keep up with it. I will. I will. I will. As long as I have the knowledge, I have the willpower. So, anywhere you are in the evening, you you’re running to come home to water them. To water them. I know. Yes. Or um early in the morning before I leave for work. Yeah. All right, guys. So, we are still mixing this in and my mom has been attempting to grow this lemon tree. So, I said, “Well, while we have green thumb here, I’m just going to see what we can do to to try to save it.” I mean, it’s doing okay, but it needs some TLC. So, that is not okay. That is on the dying side. That is I know that is on the dying side, but it’s it’s it’s still got a little life in it. So, yes, it’s stifling. It’s stifling the poor tree. But you’re you’re here to save the trees. Well, that’s good. We only went through half of one bag so far. So, I’m feeling optimistic and they all germinate and you you will see what happen. You dig up some of this around the ground and then like what I’m um juicing and stuff like that. I can use some Can I use some of the the part that you know the trash of it I can use that in here? Trash of the fruits and vegetables and stuff when I juice them. You mean like inside inside I mean in the kitchen? Mhm. When normally I always use them like throw them in the um when I make the garden. So I can use that in put it in this stuff now. Well, you couldn’t if we were putting in it, we would have to put it in it now. So, like as it’s growing though, cuz I I heard people do that to fertilize the soil or make the soil. Yes. Yes. Yes. But normally Mhm. I never hear no have no one doing plant them in pot and do that. Oh, okay. You see like how I make my garden. Yes. I know. I spread out. Official grass, right? The trash. Mhm. the top soil, everything mix up together. Mix up together. I see what you’re saying. Right. Right. Right. Everything mix up together. Yes. So, as you all have probably saw, if you haven’t seen the first video with Farmer Grant, then definitely check that one out. You will see his garden is official. Official. It’s like I soon need you back up there. Yes. Yeah, definitely. I soon need you back up. Just Just let we have some rain. Yes. just waiting on the rain because the rain has not been kind and I feel like it’s gonna show up on us and it’s going to be too kind and oh gosh when this rain come yeah it’s going to be way too much and it needs to come and wash away the pollen because the pollen has been really really bad as well. So but yes, so Farmer Grant has official official official. So I was going to do the raised gardening bed but it was just going to be a little bit too much work for me right now. In the future, I will go ahead and do that. But for now, we have the grow bags. So, this is also good, too, if you’re in like an apartment complex and you just have a porch or if you’re in a small uh space or if you’re in like more, you know, harsh or colder elements and stuff. So, it will be a a little bit more of a controlled growing situation. So, yes. So, we’re going to continue mixing up the soil. Last time we call it Sweet pepper. I came to Florida and heard that name about bell pepper. Bell pepper. We always call it sweet pepper in um in Jamaica and in um New York. Mhm. Sweet pepper. So we have the red sweet pepper here. You know what? I need a tiny piece of stick. Just Oh, I have those. Just break piece of that branch over there. Okay. Is this okay? Yeah. Just s the seeds them a little. Just a little. Not too thick. So, how many seeds are you putting in there? As much as can hold. I’m going to transplant them out of these. Mhm. See, you have to give them space to take them out when they when I ready to transplant, right? Yeah. Next time I’m I’m going to let you get like the little um trace them like what I have. Mhm. And then start with that and then just transplant it when they start. That’s better. Then when you’re ready, you just wet the tree and take it out and plant it. Transplant it. You’re not going um you want to hold all of these. Uh you going to have a whole lot I eat vegetables. You know what I’m talking You going to have a um a whole lot to transplant. Mhm. That’s good. That’s fine. I I I don’t mind taking the whole half of the backyard. Why have to get um a garden man down here to do that? All right. So, we have the tomato seeds now. So, that’s what we’re going to be putting into this bag. And we have the little markers here that we’re going to use as well. So that way I can remember what is what. Remember when you watering them, you put the um the top and slow sprinkle slow. Okay. You don’t know. Don’t blast it. Uhuh. So how how much am I supposed to water it? like like every other day, but like all the time. Yes, you can water it every other day. Okay. Or like about early morning and this time in the evening is the best time to water. Okay. So maybe for like just enough to kind of get it moist. I would. Okay. The same um pot that I showed you with the bell pepper. Mhm. That’s what I um now this is onion. Mhm. Skeleion. I put the skeleion in there and let it grow in here. Sometime I take it and plant in the earth. Okay. All right. We have our onions. You know what happened when um you going to have some of the seeds they leaving in in these bags. Mhm. But I know them when they growing up. No. I have to build a relationship with them so I can know them just when I walk past it. You know what? That leaf is a tomato leaf. You You’re going to know it as soon as they they burst off. You going to know it. I know. Yeah. My grandmother always used to um grow tomatoes in Jersey, which in Jersey tomatoes are a little different, but never really saw the process of it. So, this is going to be very interesting. So, how many will come out of one sucker for the cabbage? One sucker give you a head of cabbage. Just one head. I remember it open up wide, right? Okay, I see what you’re saying. Yeah, it open up wide. That’s why I plant my name in the ground. in the ground. I know, I know, I know, I know. Yeah. So, when I get the garden bed situation set up, that would be better. So, like I can probably do like two and see how that goes. Cuz the ones that you um harvest was really really good. Yeah. And it was different. Like even when you go to the store and get organic cabbages, you can still tell the difference between the regular one, but that one Yeah. It was different. Very, very different. And I know that you have like a lot of them kind of sprouting out. Oh, and I want watermelon as well. The watermelon have to plant in the ground and that. Yeah, I know. Because it run all over the place, right? Yeah. You going have to plant it like Okay. You see like over there now? You plant it over there. Then you let it run. Okay. Along the fence go down right on that side. Okay, we’re going with the cabbages now. All right, got the cabbage. That would be a blessing if they all do. So, I have one job just to make sure it’s watered. Sure. Or could you you use this one yet? What do we have? The kale. My precious kale. Your grandmother say the chickens and before they Well, I am welcoming it in. Okay. I’m welcoming the chickens. All right. So, this is the cabbage, tomatoes. I’m going to make it easier for you. Whenever they germinate coming up, then you get something and write it onto it and stick it onto it. Right. Okay. Like this. Okay. Let me have one more. Okay. Please. There you go. Pull that. Pull away this and these. Hoping it’s coming. Looks like it’s already moist. Yes, it moist. Oh, that rain. It’s catching. Yay. Kaloo seeds. Oh, I’m so happy. From farmer grandfa. Yes, these are golden color [Laughter] seeds. OMG. And this is melon. Oh, wonder. You see, I was just saying I was just talking about it, but you’re saying like I I need to plant that over there basically. Yeah. Okay. And these are okra. Okra. Wow. Can make some okra soup. Well, you have pepper already. Yes. Yay. Thank you. My first seed gifts and I can’t wait to get a papaya tree. How’s yours doing? No, the frost. The frost. Yeah, the avocado tree, the mango tree, everything back. Oh, okay. The tree is springing back now. Mhm. I’m not going to. Yes, I’m excited about everything, but I’m most excited about the kalo. I cannot wait to see that sprout up. The kalo. The color is the fastest one. Really? Yes. I mean, I’m just imagining myself right now harvesting it, going right to my kitchen, cooking it up. Yes. That is like the best thing right there. So, if I want to plant yam, [Laughter] yam is something you have to make a hill. Uh oh, you have to make the hill. I thought it just kind of came up. No, no, no, no, no. You don’t. You have to actually make it like Oh, wow. It’s going to be right over there where the hill is starting. There’s already a um elo elevation on that side. So, that’s where I’ll start my um and that has to be directly in the ground as well, right? I can’t do a raised bed for that. For what? Yeah. No. Okay. Well, I see some people plant it in in pots. When I say pot, I mean like those five gallons buckets. Oh yes. They throw the soil in your plant. Wow. You have to give your farm a name. When you finish when you finish with all of these. I do. It needs to represent the journey cuz this is this is starting from zero. I notice like the color though seeds are like more powdery. Is it because it’s like the like the bloom of it or something? Okay. That’s that’s that’s where where you get the seeds. Mhm. So basically like as it grows it wouldn’t it kind of like shave off and kind of reproduce or you have to take it off of it and no if you love them let they come up with the seed all the way up and they dry the wind blow them all over the a little bit from this all about yoursaloo yeah they have the wild color though that grow that grow here I mean I wouldn’t eat it or anything but I mean I’ve seen that kind of sprout photo. Okay. So, shout out to Marie D for the top soil. When you wake up, I realize the top soil gone. Thanks to you, man, for having Yep. Exactly. And don’t worry, we are going to get you all the way together. Well, you know what happened? What? Your your mom have a um a spade? One of those digging spade to dig the hole. Mhm. Your mom have a have any for the like the No, no. To dig the hole to put that in. No, you have to have like a SP to dig the hole to put it in. No. All right. We can’t use like this. No, man. Or no pretty things. You know the thing fork. Oh yeah. Yes. All right. All right. Where town meets country. Right. Right. Listen. Tell you what happened. So us town people don’t know the tools. Tomorrow is tomorrow is what? Tomorrow is Friday. Yes. Okay. So where do you think the lemon tree? Yeah. It want to plant right out there. Okay. Because I thought we were going to do the watermelon. Don’t worry about it. Don’t worry about that. Don’t stop. So then right there, that’s fine. She want it in the middle of the yard. Now you put it put it at a corner. Okay. And um I’m going to take up this with me. Mhm. And take it back. So when I come down here tomorrow to plant that I plant these. Okay. I have to use some of these top. Okay. So, you may leave that out as well. Perfect. Yay. Everything is going to be Yes, we are claiming that. So, all I have to do is water this. Where is it? Where’s the head of the hose? Um, I think it’s connected to the sprinkler. So, you know what you do? You know what you do? Take your time and carry some of these and put on a little tree like in between them. Like you put tree bags in between. In between them. Okay. And you want me to just let the sprinkler kind of hit it? No, I’m I’m trying to put them somewhere that is more cool, not out in this the bright sunlight. Right. Okay. So when they put underneath here, they get the shade off the tree. Okay. And also the water the water there. Mhm. Okay. Okay then. Go ahead and do that. All right guys. So we are going to carry these bags and go put them underneath the trees. So in between each of those down there where it can get some shade. And that’s where we have the sprinklers set as well. So, let’s get started.
