Learn about garlic mustard and its value as a wild edible!

In springtime, it’s a time for the wild flowers to come out. And we get all types of wild flowers, such as this garlic mustard, which we have right here. As it has four petals, this is an invasive plant. Many people want to destroy it. But one way you can destroy this plant is to take the leaves and mix them into a salad and eat them. And the thing that’s interesting, not only do they have the vitamin A and the vitamin C that we normally attri attribute to the native the native and non-native plants, but they have the micronutrients, the the little nutrients that are in the soil that we never ever get in our commercially bought vegetables. And these are nutrients that God intended to take care of special needs that we have, such as that being antioxidants and helping us to have superior health. It smells like garlic and it adds a little ting to your salads.
