  2. Good Morning lovely lady! WHAT IS A TRIED AND TRUE PEPPER FOR YOU? My husband and I have really struggled growing peppers the last few years. And I've really struggled with any type of bell pepper.

  4. I so enjoyed this live, sadly I did not get to see it live, I wish I had. I have a ton of questions I would have loved to ask. I hope you will do more lives they are very helpful/educational. Thank You for ALL you and your family do.

  5. You mentioned not having a big mosquito problem
Do you see a lot of dragonflies?
My understanding is they are great at keeping the mosquito population down

  6. Sooo many things to LOVE about this live! Great idea. I had been wondering about your Great Dane and the Bosco story promises to be thrilling/heartwarming.

  7. I don’t eat gluten either for autoimmune reasons – would love a GF playlist on your cooking channel especially if you’re making breads like sourdough GF!

  8. I like the devotional the way you do them because you are waiting on the Lord, they are true and powerful. If you had the pressure of having to put out a devotional on a schedule it would loose its rawness, it’s tenderness. There are many ways to present Gods lessons, His Word. He gave you your garden/your beautiful lively farm. The knowledge you have there in many ways is doing Gods work. Your whole family is. I say all this to say, please don’t overload/overextend yourself, do what you do best as led by God. I truly believe He will lead you and through that Gods message will reach where He wants it to. We love y’all, please keep it real.

  9. I'm not a Christian at all, but I love your content regardless. It comes from a kind heart and is well intentioned, it doesn't matter that we have different ideologies lol! Sorry some people are so harsh!ā¤

  10. Your ducks and geese and fish in your water sources are a huge asset to keeping mosquito larvae in check. Garlic certainly helps. That is so excellent about Bosco! That is so exciting!! Sorry I missed the live last night and this live. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.

  11. I'm a vegetarian and I have been for almost 20 years. I'm doing great like this, but I know lots of people who don't. I just got into an argument with another vegetarian that some people need to eat meat and ever body is different and needs different things. I'm glad I don't have to eat meat because it grosses me out but humans were designed to eat meat

  12. Sorry I missed the live. In n. Idaho and slept in today. I used to enjoy your weekly lives! Would enjoy it if you do some again!

  13. I live in the woods and get Lots of pill bugs! Having wood sides on the edges of my garden sections doesnt help. Moving strawberry plants into big containers this week to try to get the berries myslf instead of those danged bugs getting them. They are worse than slugs!

  14. Love all of your content and ventures! Happy for you and your present as well as all to come! šŸ’œ

  15. When my son was 3 and 4 I had him help me put seeds in the ground! Carrots, radishes and others that can be broadcast first then on to putiing them in rows. Then when he was 5 I gave him a section of the gatden and he could plant what he wanted! He loved it! Thinhs like the blue potatoes, pumpkins and others!

  16. What a delightful surprise, even on replay! To give an hour of your very busy family day is so generous. Congratulations to Asher as he enters his graduation week! Many memories to build this week, for sure. Blessings on your family, Jess.

  17. Someone asked about white flies during this live. Don’t know if you’ll see this since I’m watching it way after it has ended, but just in case…. My neighbor suggested I use my liquid fish fertilizer (Neptune’s Harvest was my brand) for the white flies on my decorative bushes, and that worked. I sprayed them thoroughly once, and most of them disappeared. I sprayed again to get the remaining ones two days later. They all were gone and didn’t come back. I don’t think there was any issue for the plants having that much fish fertilizer all at once either. Maybe something to consider.

  18. Just FYI, the old timers use to and some still do, deworm their horses and livestock with tobacco leaves before there was chemical dewormers.

  19. Hi. I couldn't find the whitefly question so I could reply. But whitefly is a common issue here on the Gulf Coast. They are 100% a nutrition issue. As soon as you get the plant sap up over 8 Brix, you will never see them again. First, treat the whitefly to reduce the numbers. Jess gave several options. I would add Organocide Bee Safe 3 in 1 insecticide. Then begin weekly foliar feeding with liquid seaweed until the issue is resolved. Reduce to once a month for health maintenance thereafter.
