Is this leaf emergence weird?

I’ve had this prince of orange for a while and am not particularly new to philodendrons generally. I’ve seen the newly emerging leaves get stuck often, but I have never seen it quite like this. There are multiple petioles between the new leaf’s petiole and the petiole(?) it is separating from. What’s going on here? lol
