Anyone else walk along side their mower so as not to leave footprints or am I insane?

I’ve never gone through that much trouble, but it never looks that good, so keep doing it if it makes you happy!

I’d be doing a lot of other things before worrying about footprints on that lawn

Sometimes I raise the deck so I don’t hit dog turds and can find them easier afterwards. I’m not here to judge.

I don’t don’t do because it lays down the grass I’m about to cut, or I’d be doing it. I do end up walking beside it at time for getting those lines nice and crisp and straight across 150 ft.

I mow in roller skates for better stripes

When I have time I do that as well. After work when im tired and angry, I hate-mow and leave extra footsteps!

I’m more curious as to why each pass is at a different height.

If you’re leaving footsteps your lawn is too long 😆

Did you mow the rows at a different height?

  10. My lawn is actually pretty healthy and I’ve never noticed foot prints after mowing

You actually walk on your grass and not ride on top of your self-propelled mower like a normal person?

You’re taking a huge risk of major foot injury. Stop doing insane stuff.

    Can confirm, you are insane.
    Source: I do this too

Insane and the talk of the neighborhood.

That’s nuts. And less safe. Knock that off.
