Welcome to another month-in-my-life as a textile and fiber artist! In this video, I start my natural dye garden, explore the Philly Yarn Crawl, and attend a bunch of really fun local community events, like quilt shows, library craft days, and spinning guild meetings.

Nice ! You can grate a bit of charcoal on top of your seedlings in order to prevent them damping off.
I don’t know if I will ever be able to pick between your dad’s singing or your funny sis. I’m a Stan!
Well done on the gardening project! I’ve got sunflowers germinating in egg boxes 🙂. Hobby show season in properly underway in the UK, so we’re enjoying getting out seeing stash! Thanks for sharing 💐
Thank you from the UK. Your dad is a really nice guy, lucky girl.
I just love the way you tackle new challenges and experiences! You’re so positive and enthusiastic, it’s always a joy to watch you ❤
Even if you don't get spinnable fiber from your cotton, it's a lovely plant with beautiful flowers.
Oh how wonderful! It is such a joy to see you and your funny, talented and enjoyable family! How very cool your dad learned to sew! And your sweet sister always is good for many laughs. It is delightful to see all the many, many situations you have there in New Jersey to meet with other fiber enthusiasts. Oh and in Pennsylvania also! You clearly have a green thumb and it will be so much fun to see the results of your garden.
Everything about this is just delightful 😊. Your joy in your friends and family and art is infectious and inspiring. I can’t stop smiling ❤
I'm in love with your channel. I stumbled on it when I watched your Scottish yarn festival video a few weeks ago. I crochet, but I really enjoy watching your journey as a fiber artist. Seeing your side of things has been so inspiring and educational. Love from TN
Your plants look great. I can't wait to see the progress, especially the indigo and madder. I'm no expert but the cotton might do best in the big tubs. The giant cotton fields in the Mid west are usually in deep Mississippi River loam.
Dad singing and building and sewing! ❤😊 Sister and Mom and cat ❤. So many beautiful fibres 🩷and adventures! Tyfs 💞🙏🌿
I see that Frankie is being a great "Plant" Manager ! Those very important purrs are helping the plants grow. Hee hee.😻 looking forward to the roof top garden. So nice to have so many fiber related activities in your area!
Oh your dad singing is the cutest ❤ and much envy here about yarncrawls being a thing…
Such a fun episode. You do so many fun crafty activities. I especially loved the interaction of you with your family. Thanks for sharing. I would be interested in knowing how you use/process the indigo to use it to dye with. Keep smiling! Gayle
Aww! You and your family singing is the greatest! <3
You are such a breathe of fresh air. It is a joy to follow you. ❤❤❤
I love your videos!!! So much fun!!! You are incredible. Thank you for sharing your experiences and love of all things fiber with us.
Someone to check out gardening book wise if you need some help might be Gayla Trail – Grow Great Grub is the one I’d recommend. I learnt most of the basic from her and she has great experience with growing in a rooftop garden. 😁 Another great way to garden in containers is those fabric grow bags too. 10L-15L is great for tomatoes and under planting with lettuce helps shade the roots from the sun. I love using those pots because they move so easily in the garden.
I love your vlogs, they're so fun. In which language does your dad sing? It´s great they moved to NJ, too, family time is important. Bianca 🙂
LOL I"ll take your indigo ha ha. Have two planter boxes that are 1/2 empty….might have to try that myself
Happy to see all of your activities. I loved your dad’s singing ❤️
What a great grwoing project. I am impressed! And so much fun with fiber activities!
hey, I saw another of my favorite YTers in one of those meet up videos!!
last year somebody started organising craft cinema nights in my city. they are super fun!!
Your videos have brought me so much joy over the past year! I love hearing about and seeing all of your adventures. It's so inspiring to my own crafting to sit and take it all in 🙂
If you will place plants in full sun and loads of wind making sure you have something to top your pots off like fine gravel will help keep the water in, water in an evening. Enjoy! Not sure if the birds of paradise will love that situation but they make beautiful house plants any way keep one inside to be safe.
4:03 you go girl! You amaze me. I have a little area that I can plant in. Dying plants would be wesome to grow.
I had such a fun time with you! Here's to more fiber adventures in 2025!
You visited Weaver House?! My favorite weaving centric place!!
What an amazing , close knit and loving family!! ❤❤❤❤
Your dad is adorable! I can see where your sweet personality comes from 😊 What a fun family
