Once Upon A Cozy Day…
Welcome to a peaceful moment of my slow living lifestyle – A Magical Day of Nature-inspired Life. In this quiet no talking, no music asmr vlog, I take you through a gentle day in my cottage garden and spring home. The fruit trees are in bloom, and the spring bulbs have made their beautiful appearance. I also introduce you to the newest member of our family—our sweet puppy, a dream come true that my husband has been patiently waiting for. Expect plenty of cute puppy moments and even a visit from the curious cat in the garden.
This episode is filled with the rhythms of simple living and intentional living, where I focus on the little joys and simplify daily life. I install insect hotels to care for the pollinators that keep our nature inspired life buzzing. In the kitchen, I show how I dye Easter eggs naturally using foods and spices—part of my daily spring routine to calm the mind and nurture a cosy home. This video is part of my ongoing journey into mindful living, and I hope it brings you some peace too. I’ve found that living simply and peacefully has helped me embrace a more stress-free lifestyle, and I hope these moments offer that same comfort to you. You’ll see what creating a calming home means to me, how I slow down and unwind, and why I believe so deeply in the power of relaxing lifestyle vlogs to reset the mind and soothe the soul. If you’ve been curious about how to live slowly and peacefully, or if you’re just in need of a breather, this one’s for you.
I hope this spring vlog brings you peace. Slow down with me, listen to the birdsong and enjoy the quiet beauty of living intentionally.

Preview Welcome to My World One cosy morning in England, 6am. It’s so peaceful Beautiful day! Time pauses under cherry blossom skies. Meanwhile at home… …even the kitchen hums with blooms Quietly waiting for my arrival Good morning my friend! How are you today? If you’ve seen my previous slow living vlogs, you know how much I love floral accents in my home—that includes my fridge! Wherever I can, I try to incorporate floral bowls in places you wouldn’t usually expect to see them. I’m going to nip upstairs real quick and put on a lovely floral dress… …this always boosts my positivity, and today feels like a good day! Living a nature-inspired life has grounded me in ways I never expected. It’s amazing how quickly my garden has transformed with just a little bit of warmth and sunshine! The once bare soil is now bursting with life—flowers are blooming and popping up in so many different places. Everything seems to be reaching for the sky. How quickly things can change and grow with just a little bit of love from the sun. It’s amazing how much peace you can find when you start mirroring nature’s rhythm, live with the seasons. Today I’m putting on something with my favourite colours in it—blue and green! Green like plants and Blue like water. All ready! Let’s go downstairs, there’s someone I’d like you to meet! This is Eddie. He’s our new family member 🥰 {Did you see his little tail wagging?} He’s a small size poodle (toy). Poodles have hypoallergenic coat, which means they’re one of the best dog breeds for people with allergies. Their curly, dense fur doesn’t shed much. I’ve read that poodles are incredibly smart! They can learn new commands in fewer than five repetitions, and obey them almost 95% of the time! We’ve had him for a week now and he’s already learnt to respond to this bell. When he hears it, he knows we’re going outside. He sits on the doormat when he wants a wee-wee and rings the bell himself! He’s only 11 weeks old. He brings so much calm to our lives! Relaxing daily life and mindful mornings in his company is a joy. I’ve trained puppies before, but this little guy is truly one of a kind! Interacting with a different animal species is truly magical and so important in my mindful living. There’s something extraordinary about building a bond based on trust and understanding, despite the differences. It teaches me how to live slowly and peacefully. The way animals can intuitively sense our emotions and respond in kind is an experience like no other. It’s part of the magic we experience by living on this planet. We are an integral part of this amazing, intricate design, where every element works in harmony, much like the precise mechanism of a watch. Each living being, from the smallest insect to the largest creature, plays a vital role in maintaining this delicate balance of life – so that everything works. Together, we create a seamless network, interconnected and interdependent, where every action and reaction contributes to the greater whole and that we all fit into a greater system. {Luke, our neighbour, is watching Eddie, unimpressed…😅} {as Eddie tends to the garden with his chaotic landscaping skills 😂} {Uh-oh, Mum’s coming… I need to finish my job quickly,” thinks Eddie 😆} Today, I’d like to give a little love and attention to the little guys who are often so unappreciated—our insects. From the tiniest critters, insects help fertilise plants, break down organic matter, and serve as food for countless other species. Without them, our ecosystems would collapse, leading to reduced biodiversity and fewer crops, ultimately threatening food security and the health of the planet. As insect numbers drop, we lose the intricate web of life that depends on them. Creating a calming home is a bit like a beehive – thoughtfully built, gently buzzing with life, and filled with a quiet sense of purpose and harmony. {Even the smallest voices…can shape the world} So, what can we do to help? I planted more flowers and created natural habitats in my cottage garden, providing food and shelter for insects. I don’t use harmful pesticides and opt for more eco-friendly alternatives to use around me. And let’s not forget the small creatures that often get a bad reputation. If you see a spider, resist the urge to kill it. Spiders, play a crucial role in controlling other pest populations, and they help keep our homes and gardens in balance. I simply relocate them outside. Every small action counts, and together we can help secure a more balanced and thriving ecosystem. Living a nature-inspired life is about embracing harmony with the environment and all the creatures within it, including insects. When we adopt a nature-inspired lifestyle, we begin to understand that every living being—no matter how small, plays a significant role in maintaining the planet’s health, and our well-being. {Luke is just waking up from his little nap. He likes this garden – there’s always plenty to see and do} A nature-inspired life encourages us to value the tiny creatures, like insects, that we often overlook. Cultivating a mindset of respect and admiration for the natural world. Not only appreciating the larger aspects of nature, but also honoring the small creatures that form the backbone of planet. It’s time to go inside. Eddie would rather play in the garden. Easter is just around the corner, and today I am going to color my Easter eggs using only natural dyes that I’ll make myself. I’m starting with turmeric, which will give the eggs a beautiful orange color (at least that’s what I hope for). To do this, I’m using 3 spoons of turmeric powder, 2 cups of water, and 1 tablespoon of white vinegar. I’ll bring the mixture to a boil, then let it simmer for about 10 minutes. I let the eggs sit for about 10-15 minutes, depending on how dark I want the color to be. The longer the eggs soak, the deeper the shade of orange will be. While the color is developing, let’s take a look at what’s going on in the garden. Today is such a lovely day! Eddie used up all his energy and is now sleeping. Luke has the garden all to himself again. Some of you may already know from the comments that my husband has been asking for a dog for a really long time, but the timing just wasn’t right with all the medical appointments we go to on a daily basis. Recently, though, I’ve become convinced that a small poodle would be an amazing idea, not only for my husband but also for my child, who has a physical disability. Having an animal in the house is a beautiful thing. I’ve tried to dye my Easter eggs naturally in the past, but somehow it never worked very well. This time, I’m going to add white vinegar, which is supposed to help the eggshell absorb the color. The acidity of the vinegar helps the dye bond better to the shell by slightly opening up its pores, allowing the color to penetrate more effectively. Plus, vinegar is a natural, eco-friendly option, making it perfect for this kind of spring project! Have you ever tried dyeing Easter eggs with natural ingredients? If so, what worked best for you? Do you have any tips? Okay, so for my pink Easter egg dye, I’m using just beetroot and onion skins! I chopped up one medium beetroot and grabbed the skins from about two or three onions with about 2 cups of water Once it started bubbling, I turned the heat down and let it simmer for about 30 minutes. I add white vinegar to all the mixtures. I popped my cooled, hard-boiled eggs into the dye and let them soak up to 40 minutes. I could leave them longer for a deeper pink. Alright, now for a green dye – today I’m using spinach and some dried dill! It’s super easy and gives the eggs a really soft, earthy green tone, kind of like spring moss. I grabbed about 3 big handfuls of fresh spinach and added them to a saucepan with 2 cups of water and white vinegar. I brought it to a gentle boil and then let it simmer for around 30 minutes, just like with the beetroot before. And while we’re waiting… …let’s go outside and play with Luke, our little neighbour. People often say cats aren’t loyal—but anyone who’s truly bonded with a cat knows that’s just not true. Sure, they’re independent and a bit mysterious, but their loyalty shows up in quieter, more subtle ways. It’s in the way they choose you – out of everyone in the room. Just like Luke chose me, even thought he now has an owner he still comes to visit. A loyal cat might not be as obvious as a dog, but they form deep, lasting attachments. They remember who’s been kind to them, who speaks gently, who gives them a safe space. Our eggs are ready. What do you think? The yellow dye didn’t make a huge difference but the rest look pretty good to me. Let’s add some gentle patterns to their shells—what do you think? Taking the time to sit down, slow down, and create something with your hands can be incredibly calming. Even if it’s only gently scratching the surface of a painted egg, just slow down – an essence of slow living. And the best part? There’s no right or wrong way to do it. Just you, some eggs, a splash of color, and a whole lot of heart. 💛🥚🌿 Wishing you a wonderful and peaceful Easter, filled with joy and beautiful moments 💛 Have a lovely day, and I look forward to hearing from you in the comments!💛 Thank you my friend!

Eddie is adorable!!🐕❤️
Я очарованна вашим Эдди! Мне у вас нравится.
Be very careful with your small puppy as birds of prey will stanch that pup up before you can react to save him, fly a bit up then drop them to make the kill, then come for their meal. It almost happened to my Cockapoo pup…that's why I know of the danger…two birds were circling above my yard…I just had my back turned doing yard work. I saw them, grabbed my tiny puppy who was wandering the yard and ran indoors.

It looks like a great rustic peacefull home decor, but let's be serious, this is a set for a show. They are getting paid to depict something that is not reality. So, let's be honest, at least!
And one more thing, this is not "simple" living. Only the cute dog is like 2000 £ 😄
Not to say that property…from 500k to up. 😀😀if is in UK.
So, let's not sell dreams here!
