This week, Amazon has launched its Home and Garden week, promising seven days of discounts and deals across selected gardening and home gadgets, furniture and more. If you’re anything like me, the spring sunshine may have already lured you out into the garden to start preparations for summer, so the sale has come at a great time.
There are quite literally hundreds of gardening products included in the offer, so you could spend all day sifting through the deal pages if you don’t have a specific item in mind. So, I’ve scoured the sale for you and chosen five of the deals I think are the best.
They include big names, including Karcher and Bosch, to help get your garden in shape, as well furniture and outdoor ovens for the perfect al fresco dining experience.
However, it’s worth remembering that the sale event ends on May 20, and, like most of Amazon’s sales, prices aren’t static, meaning that they can change at any moment.
Bosch Corded Lawnmower – now under £100

As part of the sale, the Bosch Corded Lawnmower has been discounted to under £100. Bosch claim the lawnmower has an “energy-efficient” motor and is lightweight for easy manouevering around grassy areas. The lawnmower comes with a 31-litre grass box and an extra blade. It’s a good choice for gardeners with smaller sheds, as it has foldable handles for more compact storage. Typically, the lawnmower retails for £113, but thanks to a 23% discount, it is on sale for £86.49.
The current sale means the lawnmower is cheaper to buy on Amazon than directly from Bosch where it is still full price.
Based on previous customer reviews, the lawnmower is rated 4.3 out of five stars. Positive reviews comment on its “bargain” price and how “lightweight” it is. One shopper said: “I threw this at some damp, medium-length size grass and moss. It sliced through it easy enough and didn’t overheat or shut down once after filling 100 litres. [It] could do with a few more cable clips but cable ties did the job. Bargain!”
Kärcher Pressure Washer – the lowest price it’s been in a year

Pressure washers are ideal for cleaning large surfaces in the garden, be that a paved patio area, wooden decking or your driveway (as an added bonus, they can speed up cleaning the car too) and as part of the Amazon sale, Kärcher’s K5 Power Control Pressure Washer has been slashed by 32%. The pressure washer usually sells for £339, but the current offer has knocked it down to £224.99.
According to the price comparison website camelcamelcamel, this is the lowest price the item has been this year! It’s also cheaper than on the Karcher website, where it remains £339.
Yes, it’s still a bit of an investment, but it will pay off when you consider how much easier cleaning those outdoor spaces will be. The high-pressure washer has three settings and a detergent setting. If you want to use detergent, simply plug in the detergent bottle and go.
Shoppers who have already purchased the pressure washer highly rate it, with positive reviews on Amazon. One reviewer, who gave the Karcher a five-star review, said: “The Kärcher K 5 Power Control Pressure Washer is an absolute powerhouse…I’ve used it for washing my car, patio, and driveway, and it has significantly cut down the time and effort required.”
However, some shoppers did notice niggles with the device. One person said: “This is my fourth Karcher pressure washer. I chose this model because in my experience, you need a 10m hose length to easily accomplish all the necessary tasks. It’s a pity this model does not have an internal reel for the hose, and I am not a fan of the little elastic bag for the mains power line.”
Rattan Swing Egg Chair – now under £150

Egg chairs have been a hit already this year, with Dunelm releasing its own range of popular colourful hanging chairs. If you want to introduce the trend to your garden but are keen on keeping the colour scheme neutral, Amazon has discounted a grey rattan hanging chair as part of the sale.
There is a cushioned seating area perfect for curling up with a book. Both cushion pads are removable, which means you can store them inside during the winter. Amazon also claims that the main metal stand, which supports the egg chair, is “sturdy and durable” enough to support up to 150kg.
Thanks to a 15% discount, the chair is down from £165.98 to £141.08.
Greenworks Scarifier Lawn Rake – now 39% off

Scarifying a lawn is one necessary task to keep grass healthy and reduce the risk of moss or thatch buildup. When done regularly, it can also help boost grass growth. However, when done manually with a rake, it can seem like a long job, especially if you have a large grassy area.
That’s where something like the Greenworks 40V Scarifier Lawn Rake Dethatcher could help. The appliance can be used in a similar way to a lawnmower, though it is designed primarily to ventilate the soil, enabling grass roots to breathe.
It’s also a two-in-one machine, dethatching and scarifying. The machine uses two different cassettes, which can be easily swapped depending on the task at hand.
As part of the Amazon sale, the tool is discounted by 39%. Usually retailing for £245.55, it’s now discounted to just £149.99.
Jamie Oliver Tefal Outdoor Gas Pizza Oven – under £300

From Ooni to Gozney, Pizza Ovens have become the in-vogue way to cook and dine outdoors. But if you want to try out a pizza oven without spending thousands, Tefal’s and Jamie Oliver’s collaboration gas pizza oven is currently discounted to under £300.
Usually retailing for £349.99, the oven is now £268.49 as part of a limited-time sale. The gas-powered outdoor oven claims to be “quick” to install and fast-heating. It has a dial at the side too, which can be used to rotate the pizza stone inside, ensuring no burnt edges.
The pizza oven has been highly rated by shoppers on Amazon, scoring a satisfaction rating of 4.8 out of five stars. One positive shopper said it was “better than I thought it would be”. They explained: “I’ve found it heats up quickly, around 20 mins, and the dials are good quality.
“Usually, I would prefer a larger oven as it is more difficult to rotate a pizza in a tighter space but the rotating stone negates that as being an issue – once launched then the only time you your peel is to take it out again. I’m a big fan of this and will be using a LOT in summer!” [SIC]
