Due to recent rainfall, the community garden plots located at 5400 47 Ave. will now be opening on Monday, May 19.
The wet soil is making it difficult to rototill and add compost to the plots.
Once conditions improve, Town of Sylvan Lake staff will continue working on the plots to ensure they are ready.
While the 5400 47 Ave, community garden plots opening was delayed, the raised beds at the new community gardens location on the east side of 47 Ave. and 52 St. still opened on Thursday, May 15, as planned.
