The hotel also said that staff are cleaning and doing “preventative maintenance” in the rooms and on the grounds.

The hotel has been temporarily closed since March of last year, when it was evacuated because of structural concerns.

Documents revealed that an engineer found “progressing movement of the foundation system.” They also reportedly found spalling, or deteriorating, concrete on the majority of the fourth level. Cracking was also found at all levels of the balcony side, as well as in stairwells and corridors.

All of these findings led to the closure.
